I don't think that was it, actually. All three times that I had energy glitches happen it corrected itself after I died.
i played multiplayer on this last night. i sucked because i didnt know the controls and maps, but DAMN this game is sexy, and fun as hell.
Campaign is a blast, I love how many options they give you. Multiplayer is also pretty solid, except for my terrible connection.
I picked this game up the day it came out and, well, haven't really touched it since. It's not because it's a terrible game, it's just that I haven't wanted to take Reach out of my box. I did dip a little into the campaign and so far the plot seems pretty solid. Oh yeah, the graphics are pretty good aswell.
What part of the campaign are your guys at? I'm at the part where Spoiler You and the marines just kill the tripod thing, and then you have to regroup to the Central station or something or other.
after playing killzone, crysis is only really graphically good for FX and water. filters and the visor really take out the visual effect. games like unchartered and gow really express good gfx better
I beat it, and you are approaching my favorite part of the game. The area you fight in is humongous, full of aliens and marines battling, and what happens overhead is stunning.
Gameplay > Graphics The singleplayer for this game was alright, but it never really captured me... And I've already stated my opinions/experiences with multiplayer... Overall I'd say the game's okay, but not amazing.
Am I the only one here that has Crysis 2 PC? I feel so alone I'd have to say that the single player was really great and it captivated me the whole way through. When I saw Spoiler Central Park launch into the air towards the end I was like OMGWTFBBQ.
So I just beat the game, it was pretty good. The ending made NO sense, but whatever. The only issue I had was I beat it on Soldier, and at the end I only had one additional unlock in the menu you access via backspace. How do you unlock more suit upgrades?
Spoiler Prophet encoded deep in the suit a subroutine that held the key to killing the Ceph. Hargreave used you to enter the spire and allow this subroutine to interact with Ceph genetic material. Using the subroutine, which allowed the suit to create a sort of antivirus against the Ceph, Hargreave altered the suit so that this antivirus could be sent out from the spires and destroy the ceph. When you entered the spire at Times Square, it works and the antivirus is sent out to all Ceph in the surrounding area, though not as far as Hargreave would have liked. Hargreave takes the data he used to alter the suit, now that he knew it worked, and created a suit upgrade that had to be inserted manually through a syringe. When you make it to the prism, he attempts to remove the suit so that he can wear it, apply the upgrade, and destroy the Ceph. However, you were able to escape and apply the upgrade yourself. You then made your way to the main spire in Central Park, fused the suit with it, and sent out the antivirus to every Ceph in New York.
Spoiler I think he's talking about the thing where your guy comes back from the dead and starts talking as if he was prophet instead of Alcatraz, who didn't even have a voice... That confused me, too.
Spoiler He didn't come back from the dead. It was believed that Alcatraz would die in the purge, but the suit must have protected him. Alcatraz replayed the audio of Prophet's speech to him in order to say that he would continue on the journey to destroy the Ceph under the persona of Prophet.
I am assuming you have it for Xbox and you mean the back button, not backspace. You get more suit upgrades by collecting nanocatalyst from dead Ceph. When you kill a Ceph there is a cloud of it above the body that you simply walk into to retrieve. You can then use this to purchase suit upgrades, and you can only have one active module in each set at one time, though you can switch them during the game.
Whoops, yeah I meant back button, it must have auto corrected. I finished the game with 42000 Nanocatalysts, and I only had like 5 thing unlocked, one in each category and one extra in stealth.
