Dont be hatin', just thought I'd share. What if [whoever creates the maps now] brought in a Sandbox 2.0 with the same couple of areas and the beautiful brown of the blocks that we used to love. However in the main area, when you place a soft kill zone rather than just giving you that '10 seconds to return to battlefield or else' it defines where the Guardians shoot at. LOLWUT? If you were to place a soft safe zone anywhere the Guardians would begin shooting you outside that boundary. The opposite for a soft kill zone the Guardians would shoot you inside that boundary. Sound cool? Eh? Eh? but then how would that work for the Crypt and Skybox... DISCUSS!
It would be nostalgic and cool for about 20 minutes. Then I'd realize how much cooler it would have been if I got something fresh, new, and updated. I think I heard that Noble is the last DLC for Reach anyway, could be wrong.
with forge world's physics and palette extensions and manipulation capabilities, sandbox would be awesome I actually considered building a map in Halo 3 the other day because I wanted to use one time use equipment
I would like to see more objects from Halo 3 in Halo Reach forge. So much was done with items as simple as boxes and stairways!
I'd love to see a blank flat map, and fx that when placed apply a whole skin to the scenery and the theme of the placeable objects... please!
As long as I get a completely flat, empty expanse to forge BTB-sized maps in, I would be happy with anything. I like that kill zone idea though.
