Gah! I was on my way to Chargestone Cave, when my DSi froze! It refuses to turn off, so I have to wait a few hours for it to drain, then I have to recharge it.
I was gonna say I thought there were only 153 but then I remembered the 3 other ones we cant get yet lol. For me its: 123 / 156 I just need to evovle the last of my pokemon and I need the water and grass monkey and that wierd ass snowflake one, Cryogonal. Also I was thinking that for the version exclusive legendaries (Thundurus for White / Tornadus for Black) that someone in Black could catch theirs and everyone who has White can catch their legendary and we could trade the nonversion one to someone and catch Landorus and then send it back. (ex. someone catches Tornadus in Black and sends to someone with White and they go to the Abundant Shrine and catch Landorus and then send them back their Tornadus and give them their Thundurus so that they can catch Landorus) You see what Im getting at?
I'm putting together a competitive team for when I find a Wifi usb stick so I can start playing against some buddies of mine, but I'm torn on what set for my Metagross I want to use. Other than a physical Donphan, and a Mixed Zoroark, he will be my only physical hitter. I was considering a set along the lines of this so he can be doubled as an attacking lead: Metagross Adamant @Life Orb -Earthquake -Rock Slide -Bullet Punch -Pursuit EVs: 252HP 252Atk 4Def CnC welcomed.
Not sure how I can critique that, but you don't need that silly wifi stick as long as you have wireless internet.
Nintendo only supports WEP security settings for their pre-DSi systems, and WEP sucks ****, especially in my neighborhood. Damn people leaching of my interwebz. The stick is a way to bypass that problem with ease for both my launch DS, and Wii.
Gah! I know :/ Ive almost caught Thundurus. I have him in the red but I dont have a pokemon that can keep him from fleeing just yet.
So I beat the game a few days ago. Probably the best Pokemon to date story-wise. I'm glad that I decided to buy it. Right now though I'm trying to get my new team together. I'm hoping to get: -Haxorus. I've already got it it's level 65. -Weavile. As always <3 -Swampert -Alakazam -Luxray. I've got a shiny one on my copy of Diamond. -Flygon/Charizard. I think it's a pretty good team. Then again I'm not using it to play competitively. Only really chose them because they are some of my favourites that I've never got around to using in a team. (Minus Weavile)
If you wanna lead Metagross, I suggest you drop Rock Slide and Pursuit and possibly Bullet Punch. My set would look like: Metagross Adamant @Occa Berry (a steel-type's best friend) Stealth Rock Bullet Punch Earthquake / Meteor Mash / Zen Headbutt Earthquake / Meteor Mash / Zen Headbutt Stealth Rock is on here because every good lead packs an entry hazard to make your opponent's life hell. Bullet Punch for STAB and priority, which is nice with Metagross's lower speed stat. Earthquake because its freakin earthquake. Zen Headbutt is a consideration if you're team needs a Psychic type hitter and it's STAB. Meteor Mash for a more powerful steel STAB if you know you can outspeed the other guy. If you don't have any Occa Berries, Lum Berries work pretty well, too, as does Leftovers; you want to give this guy some bulk and Life Orb kills that. As a lead you COULD also drop Bullet Punch for Trick and give Metagross a Choice Scarf and be a total ***** to your opponent's lead. Just another idea.
These two posts are the only thing I've gotten from a defined list of how the OU tier will shape out for the fifth generation metagame. http://www.smogon.com/forums/showpost.php?p=3116790&postcount=1 Pokemon Online Server Stats 5th Generation As far as I know, Thundurus has not been banned yet.
