Not really any improvment this week because I didnt really practice at all (I was stuck looking at potential "living quarters", AKA im moving) and the video was a day late, but oh well, **** happens. As always, constructive criticism only please, and yes, im still working on the breathing. YouTube - Asking Alexandria - I Used To Have A Best Friend (But Then He Gave Me An STD) Vocal Cover Also holy **** im not wearing a hat
The first 21 seconds were alright, a little off, but you got the words right! Then you put mustard in your throat again.. STOP DOING THAT!
One of these days im gonna make a video of me gargaling mustard just for you haha, thanks for the reply though!
Dude, you've obviously put at least a little bit of time into learning how to scream (Sorta?), please, at least learn how to sing on key a little bit, or just don't sing the singing part. Easy answer. Also, I thought you were doing better at screaming, then I realized that it was the Lead singer from Asking Alexandria (who is amazing) backing you up, and you were still just as bad. Yeahhh.
Well I am trying to learn to sing, but I wont be able to go to lessons for awhile due to money issues, so the best I can do is to just try and learn myself. I have gotten a little better then my first video as far as screams go, but I agree, im no where near Danny's level.
Isn't he? Asking Alexandria, while not my favorite band, I have to say is really musically talented as a whole.
Asking Alexandria, after listening to their whole cd several times, would be soooo much better if they would 1. stop the clean singing, and 2. spend more time with the synth parts. They come out of no where for like 30 seconds, and then the rest of the song is nothing like that. It should just be an entire cd of synthy breakdown metalcore.
I prefer clean vocals to be in the mix, I just don't like the higher range that all the newer metalcore bands have nowadays.
