I only teabag people when they're: 1. teabagging me for no apparent reason. 2. someone I know. 3. using Armor Lock.
I don't teabag at all in Reach, which is funny because I did it quite a bit in Halo 3. I also see it a lot less too, and it's a more immature thing when its done now. Like now, when someone teabags someone else, theres always a "Childish idiot" reaction of some sort, and even I react like that. However, in Halo 3, when someone would teabag it would just make the game more competitive, and it was laughed off. Strange.
This has gotten weirdly prevalent and I have no idea why. For instance, playing big bro slayer on Atom (ugh) the other day, and I attacked a cluster of the other team down on the ground around/underneath a ramp. I killed two guys and the third guy killed me. Then he started teabagging. At this point, they were down by almost 20 kills. What is his message here? A) "I am losing big time, but screw you anyway!" B) "You managed to kill two out of three people by yourself, but screw you anyway!" C) "I am an annoying little twerp!" Maybe all of the above... anyway I killed him fifteen seconds later and teabagged him back, and then it turned into a cycle of the two of us bagging each other until the game ended, with his team getting absolutely destroyed in the process (and him dying at least twice while teabagging me). Brilliant.
I prefer to see it from the other side, seeing as teabagging is less frequent....it has become an art. But all the time little douchebags down by twenty points teagbag you for killing their entire team, and the worst part? They do it so vigorously and so fast that you cant even tell theyre doing anything because the teabag physics changed in reach... So i choose to maintain the Three-Bag rule (Three drops each a second long,sprint away) if you have time, and only dip for a second mid battle in an emergency.
Is it just me that thinks slow teabags make you look a little, umm, special? Like you have to concentrate really hard to do it....
Haha I rarely do, but this remind me of what happened yesterday. I almost killed someone with the shotgun, but he landed a stick on me. So he teabagged me. I spawned, picked up the sniper, and no scoped the guy who was now right next to me with the shotgun. So I teabagged him.
what ever happened to teabagging only when you earn it? i only do it if i absolutely destroy someone or blindside them. that, or if they do it first without actually 'earning' it.
That's the best approach. I will never understand people who teabag in situations that are completely standard or even where they didn't actually accomplish anything at all. For instance most of the time when I get teabagged, it's something where I have killed several guys inside their own base, then the 4th or 5th guy (somebody who I probably already killed at least once and has now respawned) takes me out and teabags me. I mean... uh, scoreboard, buddy? Or what I mentioned above, when I take on 2-3 guys at once and they kill me (with or without me killing some of them in the process), and I get teabagged. Congratulations - you won a scenario that you should win 99% of the time! The worst to me is teabagging when half the other team quits out, you have all the power weapons and map control, and you're already blowing the other guys out. Teabagging on top of that just seems like a douche move. And every time it happens it has the worst possible effect on me - I want to hide somewhere just to piss them off and make them hunt me down.
I'll tea bag if they deserve it. Like it drives me nuts when its two on one or you get killed in a stupid way and they tea bag you thinking there hot ****...i cant help it it pisses me right off lol. I'll never initiate the bagging of the tea though
Nope, I don't teabag. It just seems to be tactically inefficient. You waste time you could be using for more kills doing nothing more than squatting awkwardly and engendering annoyance in the other team, hardly a real reward for a kill.
I only teabag if... They tea bagged first I'm not trying Its completely justified (I get an extermination or something) or... if i feel like it Haha, HAPPY HUMPING! <3
