Noxi, you have to broaden your 8-bit horizons. Give yourself a big task. Research architecture online and build that ****. Install some mods. Many possibilities!
Made a new world and had the bestest spawn ever. Thats right, bestest. I spawned completely surrounded by trees, just outside 2 Gargantuan caves filled with lots of stuff, including diamond.
A hopefully better episode 5. YouTube - Lets Play Some Minecraft! | Episode 5 - Puzzle Map Rage Quit Part 1 Feedback as harshly as you can.
A bit better but not by much. Like I said before, if your friend wants it to be a show it needs to resemble a show and not just a video capture of you playing the game for twenty minutes. Here's some specific critiques. The music at the very beginning was way to loud, and like I mentioned before playing that music softly through the entire video would be good. You can add an audio track over any video track in most movie making software. During times of awkward silence the music would help tie things together better. There was a lot of fluff in it. I know your friend said he doesn't like cutting content but some times it really has to be done. The audience does not want to sit through 15 minute videos of mostly boring content. Some of the times you died in the same manor over and over could have been completely edited out and no loss of continuity would have happened. Most of the game over screens could have been edited past as well as with the disconnection screen. The humor is a major aspect of what I think your show is trying to achieve. That is what will drive people to want to see your videos. Focus more on that humor. The line, "this isn't a puzzle, this is mario" I thought was great. There needs to be more of that. I could come up with some funny quips at almost every moment in your video, so if I could do it so could you. Finally, it desperately needs ending credits. It is really weird for a show that you want people to subscribe to, just ends. Look at other youtube "shows". You will find they have opening credits introducing the show and closing credits usually giving some preview into what might happen next episode. Also try to pick a time frame for you episodes and really strive to keep to that time span. If the video is 10 minutes long than devote say 30 seconds each to both beginning and ending credits.
Lol, the first 3 diamonds I found in the game I lost because I was trying to build a lava den near bedrock and miscalculated the flow. I couldn't forgive myself for not taking the time to store them until I stumbled upon a motherload of 12.
Just saw this when I got home but Fileplanet did in fact feature my wallpaper :3. Wallpaper Wednesday: Minecraft Edition | FilePlanet's Blog

I'm so aggravated at my less than adequate coding skills. I saw this video and got the amazing idea of having an assassins creed level where you could climb around with the help of invisible ladders and you could have a block that looks like a tight rope going between buildings while wearing an Ezio skin the whole time. I also thought that it would be cool to have zombie pig men that look like guards stationed around the city and when you attack one they all swarm you it would be awesome. I'm going to wait till Notch updates the game and gives support for code hacks since it would be much easier then.
