It seems like whatever I do I'm always using blocks 4x4. I tried using platform larges and landing pads but sometimes it isn't as smooth. What other peices do you guys use for floors or walls and etc.

I mainly go for the flat objects, which tend to be the 4x4 an 5x5 flats. I find they take up a fair sized space, and if you line them up all the same way, I find they don't clash as much as some people say.

Coliseum walls are a bad idea, as they like to shift when you save the map.

Another option would be just plain old regular walls, because they've worked since '08, why shouldn't they work now?

I like to spice upp wall building by using large braces.

True dat, true dat. I prefer to use 2x2 flats when making walls but
they do run out very fast

2x4 and 2x3 blocks have a really nice texture for a floor, plus no glass.
