Hi Forgehub I'm looking for a map called Giant squid, it was at the most downloaded lists a few ago, the description said something about an island being attacked. So what is so important about the map? I have an awesome idea for a map and gametype, really awesome and I need to know how to geomerge vehicles, well, this map had a vehicle geomerged into the ground! And I need to contact the author HELP!
I don't have the map but you can use a flltered search and search "squid". You might be able to find your map that way
Now did you make the map (wording from the previous posts is confusing). If so try looking through your previous post. If you are looking for a map named squid I suggest you search for it in both the search bar and alphabetically in the map menu under S. Hope this helps if it does or doesn't please post and let us know.
This should work. If not it means that the map may have very well been removed and as a result any link to it being removed. Especially if there were too many complaints of the broken link with no response from the author.
I already searched in bungie.net, tried some tags like squid; island... butholy crap. Anyway, any of you guys know how to geomerge vehicles, tried going under forgeworld but I couldn't spawn anything there.
I didn't find the map but I accidentally found a way to geomerge using teleproters (pretty sure it's how this maps author did it as they behave the same). -First make a teleporter that can transport the vehicle you would like to geomerge. -Next, place the receiver near the thing you would like the vehicle to geomerge with. -Finally, drive the vehicle though. You'll get different results depending on how you drive it in. -And now you have a geomerged vehicle that is nearly impossible (but can be done) to get out!
God, will try this later and if it succes, man, I love you ; ) P.S: what do you mean by nearly impossible to get out?
What about spawning will the vehicle spawn inside the geomerge item during regular games. Or does it only work in forge.
By nearly impossible I mean that, depending on what part of the vehicle you geomerged it might come out when I player trys to drive it out enough. Sometime they'll just come out by themselfs. After some more testing I've found that every vehicle except the Revenant, and maybe the mongoose, can be geomerged (the Revenant will just explode for some reason). Not sure if it works for building blocks, but I'm guessing it would.
