My sexy countertop in my house on my server. I used snow covering ontop of the obsidian. I edited the lightstone to a lightbulb block.
The real challenge is making an awesome looking house legitimately. Especially on a server where people can wreck your **** up, or a creeper can crash through your living-room like a drunk driver. Why even edit the lightstone when there are perfectly good jack 'o' lanterns?
Well my server is more of a build cool stuff server + mobs ya know. I build my house mostly legit but its not cool getting everything legit for a 30x30 and who knows how high structure. I spawn things I cant get legitly.
that reminds me of an idea I had to make a house with working electricity. Enter your house, flip a switch and the lights go on. Flip the switch again and the lights go off for when you leave your house.

How can I instal modloader? On the page it just says "drag and drop the appropriate files into the Minecraft.JAR." So 1, what files are appropriate and' 2, what can I download for free to open the minecraft.JAR?
