Ok, So I had nearly finished my really good map and was just about to save it after I did this last bit of interlocking. I selected start new round and it went "game over" and ended the game!?!? but I hadn't saved it *sad face* It's done this a few times now, I select start new round and it ends the game?! Does this happen with anyone else? thanks, - Toonshorty
Yes it's not a glitch though. After so many rounds the game ends. Like a normal custom game or whatever. I don't know how many rounds it takes to end the game but it's just what happens. Save often =] I think it's stupid also =\
it's around 32 rounds apparently, but i have never actually counted for myself, but yes, it is annoying. there is no way to change the maximum number though.
There is a limit to the amount of rounds you can start. Once you hit that it will end the game instead. I think its somewhere around 25 rounds. lulz we can haz all post at the same time^^
Wow, that sucks! But then again, interlocking is a glitch so normally you wouldn't need to start new round that often.
I've had it happen after only five rounds and yet other times after something closer to 30. It's something that just happens every now and then. Only way to beat it is save very often. I usually save every time I'm about to start a new round unless it's something that's not too important and I haven't done much since the last save.
yeah, thats the best plan, it has happened heaps of times to me, and it's always frustrating, but if you regularly save, it becomes a habit.
Yeah that happened to me with my Shipment map. Nearly finished it and "Game Over" -Pop!- over half my map deleted.....
lol had that happen when building Confinement. Map was 99% done just this one last box to place and game over. Had not saved at all the entire time. I nearly put a hole in my tv.
Maybe its an error with the code where it can't start a new round for some reason so it just ends the game?
to fix what rey said (first poster) you just cheek to see how many rounds there are by pressing x on the title screen and change it to what ever u want
Ok, I thought it was just me. I'm sitting there thinking... "I swear I hit Start New Round... I guess I accidentally selected End Game instead..." Thanks guys, I thought I was going crazy haha.
You have an interrobang in your title. Which is awesome... But on my floating Blackout map, I've had to rebuild sections of it multiple times due to the damn glitch or w/e it's called. After I had all of my save-quitting (I call it squitting since it sounds weird) done, it's been a pain to interlock the floors & catwalk. Having to do it over and over again has led me to the glitch many a time. Sad face...
I have a gallery of unfinished maps due to the dreaded game over. If I lose too much, I just start on something else. I can't stand doing the same thing after I did it once.
THIS is what happened to me! I had worked for 20 minutes on a part of a map, and I start a new round...gone. I was so unbelievably pissed.
