QKT, you need to get your meme history correct. I posted a picture in the Post Your Picture Thread. I was called a "word that starts with F and ends in G" by CHUCK. I told CHUCK I get more "word that starts with P and ends in Y." Tusk comes in quoting both of us and questioned if we were talking about the words "frog" and "pantry." Then Chuck, Tusk, and I started using it more frequently, thus starting the meme.
As long as you don't religiously shop at Hot Topic an I don't get excited when I see you making out with a chick cos it looks like 2 chicks are making out, then you should be good.
Actually yes. It's still a good series. And infact they are re-releasing it with updated effects added and a lot of the filler BS removed. Seems to be the trend in anime lately. Hellsing has done it. Ghost in the Shell: Stand alone complex, Full Metal Alchemist, even Dragonball Z.
I loved the Shrooms in Cowboy Bebop -- tons of great symbolism. I was really into DBZ when I was younger too. I just recently watched one of the episodes from the Frieza saga.
Are they not made by the same people? And I loved Cowboy Bebop too. One of the few Anime series where I actually bothered to watch the entire series.
Akira is and awesome anime movie, and I've recently re-watched Cowboy Bebop and Tri-gun, and by recent it was like last summer or something.
Akira Appleseed Appleseed: Ex Machina Gungrave Naruto (quite long and still going though) Ruruni Kenshin Wolf's Rain Karas Blood: The last Vampire Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust Trigun Gantz Jin-Roh Howl's Moving Castle Princess Mononoke Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Those are just the ones I have though Havn't seen Champloo, what's it like? Have all of it from beginning of Dragonball through to the end of GT. Good story to be able to keep going for 3 generations of characters.
Other than super saiyin 4, not really. Although the shadow dragon saga was pretty cool. Nice way to revisit past events by having an evil dragon represent each wish made in the series.
I just nostalgia'd at Ruroni Kenshin. There's a show about it? I read the manga in Shonen Jump (along with Naruto, One Piece, Death Note, Hikaru No Go, etc.) Side convo: Anyone heard of that book called The Secret that came out a few years back?
