Just want to know the harsh truth about my maps. If they suck feel free to tell me but, please tell me why. I will warn the player that these maps were made with big teams in mind; a 1 v 1 will be a boring match on a couple of these.Given my ineptitude with forums I'll be making 4 different posts, one for each map.

This is my newest map modeled after the Guggenheim museum in NYC. Original credits to Frank Lloyd Wright for the basic spiralling design but, really, I only got the idea after seeing the movie "The International" which has an awesome gunfight in the museum. While one could play Slayer on this map I thought I'd give Invasion a try and this is my first attempt at such a gametype. Now I've only played it with a couple of other guys so, the teams were uneven; I'm not really sure if it'll play well with even teams.

While in the movie the shootout is intense because of the one-way nature of the spiral it has become apparent that such a map design quickly gets old, hence the central grav-lift (i.e. the grav-lift isn't in these game photos but, is in the map itself, nestled between the rocks).

The only glitch I've come across is a spawn point after the elites plant the bomb. Spawn zone 3 was spawning us off of the bridge despite it being on the bridge. I've moved it since but, I haven't been able to play another test run...let me know if its still a problem.

Let me know if it blows or, if by some miracle, you have a good time with it.

One thing that may cause an issue is all the merging. Now, I may but wrong since I havent played it, but is there any frame rate lag? I would imagine there would be, but enlighten me if i am wrong.

I'm new to the forum and some of the terminology, "frame rate lag" is one of those terms. Does it refer to flickering of the pieces when one is in motion? If so I have noticed that, most notably as the editor when I'm flying around. During the match I don't remember seeing anything happen.

ok...heres the thing...you have no discription...you need to describe your map...you just have picutes...tell the objectives there are for the different phases and the weapons there are...besides that I found the aesthetics on this map top be very impressive...

Frame rate lag is referring to when your playing the map and if it is laggy or not, you ever wondered why you have a budget in forge? It's because if you were to go over it the map can't sustain that many objects in the map. So when you put more objects in one area the higher the chance of having map lag. In this case there's many objects in one place so there's a higher chance of the game engine not being able to compute all those objects in on area. That's what they ment by map lag. Don't over complicate whT I was trying to say lol. All it means is basically more objects in one area the higher chance of lag.
