Remember [insert game here]. That game was great. [insert flame war here]. Let's talk about stuff... Favorite old FPS, Goldeneye Favorite handheld game, Pokemon Blue First game I played and liked -
Do we need pictures? I don't like to go and search for pictures. The first game I ever remember playing was Mario 3, or Super Mario 3, whichever you prefer. My dad had it when he went to school, along with a number of other classics on the NES. I played this one in particular a lot and it stays with me even now. The first shooter I played was Golden Eye. Wasn't that everybody's? Of course, I then moved on to Halo, and CoD 1. I beat Halo CE numerous times on Legendary, but only managed CoD 1 once on veteran, and that was over a year. With RPGs I started out on The Legend of Zelda: The Ocarina of Time. I can remember playing through this game religiously, all day after school I played it. Then I moved on to The Final Fantasy series, where I played seven through nine on the original PlayStation. Handhelds were all about pokemon for me, I own every game up to the 4th generation, aside from spinoffs.
Duke ****ing nukem. Or crash bandicoot. I nostalgia all over the place when I think of both of those.
The first game I ever owned was for my non-color gameboy heres a video: YouTube - Game Boy Longplay [027] Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - Back from the Sewers I also remember long nights of playing the original mortal kombat with my Step-Dad and beating him every time (I was 6 he was 28)
A) Munch's Oddysey was a bleh game. B) I ****ing loved Spyro, but they really shouldnt have made those God Of War like spyro games where combat is the main focus, and there are no open levels. If they made a Spyro game for the xbox that was largely like the old games, Id buy it in an instant.
The most overlooked and amazing game ever. Even today its amazing fun. I would sacrafice a entire village for a XBL download with online capabilities.
