Im not sure how i done it but i will recount all the event i done. Forged a map - on live Signed in player 2 as alterate account - silver switched to local - test map1 for frame rate issues Test map 2 for frame rate issues went back to forge for map 1 added 2 anti zones while in the assualt game type. map was having frame rate issues. backed out of the game signed out player two went to load my map and there was 2 of each of them and the description were gone.
this happened to me as well. i'm not sure what causes it, but the copies vanished after a couple of days and everything went back to normal without a problem.
I once saw a map with 20 warthogs and 100 colliseum walls too, if we find a way to manipulate this we may have discovered a new way of forging, no more worries about the budget if you want your map with 100 rocks scattered through your map you just have to use this. Will try to replicate thia, also any link to your map?
In the File Browser? Yeah, there's a bug that often shows duplicates of files. These duplicates can't be viewed/edited/deleted because they're not real files. They go away on their own, but they can be a pain in the ass. (Menus become longer, the "parent" files sometimes become inoperable as well...) You still can't pass the 638-item limit. (It went down by two from Halo 3...) Also, I think you're referring to a spawn-duplication bug in Forge. When you Forge, you're not actually placing objects; you're placing spawn points for objects. The bug is that sometimes, multiple copies of an item will spawn at these points; you have one Fusion Coil (meaning one Coil spawn) on the map, and suddenly, a bunch more appear from that one spawn. When you save the map, only the objects' spawns are saved, so the duplicates are lost when you exit Forge.
This glitch is not anything to worry about, just turn of and restart your 360 and it goes away, that's what i did and its very easy. just dont forge on any of the duplicates...Who knows what could happen
