    -Version 1.1 Update-
    *Snipers have been moved to the corners of Gold Side on the Glass Sail with 150sec. spawn
    *Shotgun has been moved up to the 2nd level of Gold Side on the 1x1
    *Magnums and Frags grenade has moved to Cover under the Purple bridge
    *Rockets now have 0clips, but same spot and spawn time
    *Weak and Anti Spawn zones have been added to the bases


    Rupture was a map that i first map in Halo 3 in Sandbox. It was originally based around MLG gametypes, but it is now for regular gametypes. It was two symmetrical bases and different leveled side structures. Over all, there is only two levels to fight on, but on the gold side, the floor is elevated up, as if it was on "The Pit". Both Gold ad Purple have a long strip on the edge of the wall for a long walkway. Purple has a feel sort of like "Construct" due to the giant platform that hangs over. Gold has a very small bridge that forms over to the middle two walkways. Each Bases has two levels, with the bottom only being a long hall.

    The Sniper and the Rockets are the strong weapons to control on this map due to some of the long line of sights. Mainly purple to gold. The Snipers spawn in the corner of Gold Side on the Glass Sail, while the rockets spawn at top purple. If used for KOTH the shotgun can be a great advantage. The shotgun spawns above the gold bridge, on a 1x1, and by two of the KOTH hills. The needler spawns on top of the gold bridge and can be a great use if used properly. The plasma repeater and plasma pistol are on bottom purple and to do a great deal of damage because of the open area; firing quick shots to someone.

    This is a great map. I tested it in the TG and it was [is] one of the few maps that I have tested out of that pool of maps and liked. I think you should make an MLG version without the Needler and rearrange all the weapons and whatnot. Mostly because this map reminded me quite a bit of The Pit, and could play amazingly for MLG gametypes if you did it right.

    Yes, this map was fun to test. It looked like you took my advice and improved the aesthetics a bit (those teleporters on the wall weren't there before, right?) and it looks like the map now has less of a generic look. Gameplay was solid during the test, so I see no reason why it wouldn't now. Good work.

    Thanks guys for the comments. I will get working on a weapon layout for a MLG version. And for the aesthetics, the teleporters have been there the whole time, i just added the sender so they would glow, and for v1.1, i added a capture plate for fun. Glads you guys enjoyed the testing, maybe it can be a map to play for TGIF? (hint: Psychoduck)

    I dont see why not, just message me on XBL and I'll try to get you in the game, it could be full though. Just make sure its in your file share and I'm sure we can get to it.

    the aesthetioc are nice but you have a rocket launcher listed and then you said there are none on the map...but if you do have it on the map the map may be a little overpowered...

    Im sorry, thanks for pointing that out. There is a rocket launcher on the map, but there is only 2 shots in it, so zero extra clips. With only 2 shots and a 180sec. spawn time, it shouldn't be that bad. It would spawn only around 3 times within the game, making it 6 shots total, and 6 kills at the minimum. :) i think my math is right

    The rockets are not overpowered. The power weapons worked just fine in testing, and I'm sure they still do.

    Well Psycho, I'm gonna dl this and we're gonna play this in TGIF cuz I had him move the weapons. So I wanna see if they got any better... or worse.

    I got a video of FFA Oddball up from the first version of the map. I would also like to be apart of the TGIF game. Hopefully there's some room for me. Also, Erupt, i have some extra time right now, so I'm going to get started on created the MLG version.

    Love the layout. Beautiful aesthetics. Reminds me of The Pit for some reason. Maybe it is because The Pit was my favorite Halo 3 map. Definite DL from me! ^_^

    Thanks for the comment. The Pit was an influence to me, so it does have a sort of feel like it. I hope you enjoy the map, and have fun playing on it.
