I've heard nothing but good coming from practically everyone about this game. Think I'll give it a DL tonight when I get home from work. Any suggestions for someone loading the game for the first time?

 

Immediately start digging and building a shelter before the first day ends.

Either that or download the InvEDIT program to give you all the supplies you need.

If you enjoy building things, you'll love this game.

Minecraft Wiki is a great resource to start off with and should probably be bookmarked.

 

So, Im in the middle of building a Tree fort. The hard part about this is growing the trees.

1. Multi player is supposed to be the same as single player (Notch said you would be playing single player and you could invite other people to play in your world).

2. Did you do the old way of installing and overwrite the original files? You place the .zip folder inside the texturepacks folder and then select it from the main menu.
