Unless something was changed in the last month... stone pressure plates and mobs - Minecraft Forums The thread says that mobs can use both stone and wooden pressure plates.
I installed SoulScribe's 128X128, but it didn't contain textures for everything. [br][/br]Edited by merge: Just downloaded that texture pack and installed it. Didn't like the glass or the glowstone.
Read through the change log, both the glowstone and glass textures are interchangeable in the terrain.png
If you find that, you found my cave. Pretty nice cave too. Can mine and ****, just don't steal any of my stuff and leave my stuff alone. <3 Now, I gotta find a place for my actual house.
It's a pain in the ass cutting and pasting to switch that crap around... then gotta re-add it to the zip file. I also didn't like that the door didn't have a window in that pack. I hate it when I can't see the creepers standing outside my doorway.
Just spent a couple hours mining. Hid a whole bunch of goodies, hopefully some prick doesn't find em.
Hey sleazy, there was an update for that texture pack today. It's now version 2.0. Figures, too... right after I took the time to download a new program, cut and paste the new door and glass textures, and reinstall it into the zip file. Version 1.92 is phenomenal looking, but kinda dark overall. I think I need to change the glowstone texture, too because I have a **** ton of glowstones lighting up most of my map and it now looks very dark due to that red glowstone this texture pack uses.
Didn't do anything detrimental aside from adding a bunch of alternate terrain images. I won't be updating, however I will look into changing that glass block, I checked it out and I'm not a big fan. The glowstone too.
Yeah... that glass looks annoying when you have huge walls of glass like a greenhouse. Having the alternate terrain images in a separate file actually makes it easier to switch them around.
two questions that im not sure if anyone can answer: 1. does anyone know what the multiplayer will be like in the final game 2. if i downloaded a texture pack and now minecraft just crashes as soon as i start it up, did i do something wrong or is my computer just too old and shitty to handle it?
If you're using a texture pack that's anything more than 16X16, then you need to run it through this. It allows minecraft to support larger tile sizes.
Wood is a fuel source. Smelting wood creates charcoal. 1 Wood will allot you to burn 1 Wood into 1 Charcoal. 1 charcoal will let you burn at least 3 other wood into 3 charcoal. Wood/Charcoal may not be as effective as coal, but it is MUCH easier to produce, and you don't really need coal to heat more wood. It's practically self-sufficient. Most trees will produce another 2 seeds. coal mining companies will go bankrupt
Sleazy, here's an edited terrain.png file with different textures for wooden/iron doors (6d2&3a), glass (4d2a), and glowstone (7d10a). I also edited his iron door image to have a glass window, like the wooden door. Just open up WinRAR. Click Add file. Select this terrain.png. Allow it to overwrite the old terrain.png. Run Minecraft.
Customized painterly pack is the way to go if you're not going high def and want to use the texture pack switcher. Home of The Minecraft Painterly Pack I like some of the items in that pack, but imo the actual ground textures are sub-par.
Painterly pack is a great starter pack. It's what I used... but after a while, you keep wanting more.
