High above the desolation of Installation 05, this ancient foreunner temple resides, waiting for the next sacrament of blood to be spilled... A co-forge between me and Kittenpaste, it has taken about 3 days to complete construction. It is a large foreunner structure, located far above the gulch. We are constantly trying to reduce frame rate lag in both online customs and split screen to make it suitable for the 2v2 Throwdown competition. Weapons: - 2x sticky - 2x DMR - 2x Needle Rifle - 2x Magnum - 2x Plasma Rifle - 2x Plasma Pistol - 2x Needler - 2x Concussion Rifle - 1x Gravity Hammer - 2x Plasma Turret Armour Abilities: - 2x Drop Shield - 2x Evade Nuff talk, have some pictures: We are now in testing phase and mainly trying to get the spawn system working properly. p.s: Ask Kittenpaste about the name, i think its pronounced pro-jen-it-or.
ZOMG I just playtested this Good map, I liked the "tall" feeling the map gives off and the multi-leveled areas are nice to rain DMR fire from. The hammer definitely dominated but was a good power weapon
Wow, looking at this really dwarfs my current submission (incomplete as of now) I'm gonna go expand it a bit now... Looks really good though, probably will at least make it into the top 5 best for he contest.
Hehe, thanks. There was a little joke going along with that. All Forerunner structures are built with the concept "more up!". It was rather fun to build them that high - totally worth it for a comment like that. Question, did you play the version with the roof/central structure or without? And yea, Progenitor is kind of a synonym to Forerunner. Cry, loving the look you chose for the name.

you clever little devils.... this map is fun. i played it and didnt even realize, i certainly did like it though. the structure made up for the apparent lack of decor, and it IS impressive. Really good thing you two hit on here, this map got fun as soon as I got familiar. My only suggestion would be something to define the different sides of the place. nice work so far.
Looks awesome from the screenshots. This looks it will be awesome for DMR combat, plus it has really nice, smooth aesthetics. The map I'm making for the contest has some similar features (like a hammer in the centre), although it lacks the open spaces for longer-range combat.
Me and Kittenpaste have been doing some changes to map and we have come to a conclusion that all maps that are decent will contain frame rate lag in split screen. In other news the spawn system now reasonably works and the map has a ceiling again which has made cutandpaste happy! Screenshots denied... mainly cos I didn't get the chance and kitandface is too busy being high on happiness over the ceiling. Don't you love reading random ****... also have an epic action shot: What lovely windows... oh shiz a grav hammer!
