Sorry guys, I was a little late at posting this map (I was lazy and didnt want to do it). Now that I have finally become not lazy for the moment ive decided to post this... anyway here it is! The Map is based off of New Vegas in the Fallout game. The map includes the first block of the strip and the first block of freeside. Some of the important structures I have added are The Lucky 38 Casino, Gommorah, and The Ultralux. Unfortunatly I did not have enough money to add interiors to the buildings so all the fighting will be done out on the streets. I set this map up to be an infection based map but it can be played as a slayer map aswell. Weapons have been placed all over the map and thier is "one" warthog spawn close to the entrance to the strip. The map works best with around 10 players for infection but if you like an overwhelming force of zombies 16 players is the right amount for you. I do have a game variant for this map but unfortunatly I do not have anymore spaces open in my fileshare Here are some pics of the map and if anyone has any questions feel free to ask!
I havent played Fallout new vegas, but the map itself looks impressive. Which variant of zombies is it best suited for?
I usually play a custom variant. I like the semi fast zombie with unlimited sprint. They have normal life but headshots bring them down
Ok this is oddly couincidental (oh boho i cant spell!) I just rented fallout newvegas a few days ago to see how it was, then i come on forgehub and see this like I have a stalker or somethin -_- Anyway, looks alot like the real thing and definatly would like to play this with infection. I know your outa budget, but a FX for infection only, would have made this insane. Either way I congradulate you and im looking foward to downloading, exploring, and playing this map. Is there ANY specific settings you'd like to mention so players (& meh) can remake your intended gametype? And btw congrats on the 14,000+ downloads
thanks man and yeah i put this map on my fileshare about a month ago and was to lazy to post screen shots and everything up on this site lol but anyway like I said I normally like semi fast zombies with normal life no shields unlimited sprint. I also like the jump height for zombies to be about 120% otherthan that its pretty much up to everyone to find a infection variant they like
How does this have 14000 downloads and only 5 FH posts? Anyway, the map looks great, looks just like The Strip. I personally love the top of the Lucky 38. It would be sick to know you can go in it. And if you have a gametype post it preeze. Great remake!
I belive that ive seen this on a top spot on the file browser and that he's just posted it late. i was shocked too.
nice job! This is one of the best maps i've ever played very nice work, i havent played fallout but the maps details must show that you play alot! It would be awesome if you could make something to allow people to go into aand up the buildings and structures, like the needle in the middble of the map. beesides that, the map eez AWESOME!!
I downloaded the map played it, and what do i see? amazing aesthetics. great job on making the buildings seem real, maybe you should add effects for infection gametypes to add intensity.
Wholly crap this is mother $%#&*%^ amazing. Dude I love this map. I am soo going to DL it right away. The map is amazing in all aspects. This is so large and huge (that's what she said) How long did this map take you to make. I cannot spend more than a day on a map.
