    Sequence (as are all my maps) is designed for the hardcore competitive players, so they will always have a learning curve to the map to allow a knowledgeable player to traverse the map more skillfully than a new player. The layout and play style for the map was meant to be very different, and be very UT/Quake-esque in terms of speed and maneuverability. After a few games, the players should have figured out the layout and tele-lines, most players will actually do this rather quickly, but I might be bias because of the fact most of my testers are hardcore players. I really appreciate the review though, I wish more people did that! I'm going to be reading through it again soon when I work on an updated version.

    Great map, love the jump pad. I think a 9.5 or a 9 for that matter is a lil much but i cant complain if this is the map that got it. a score that high should be reserved for groundbreaking maps, and aside from the jumppad theres nothing revolutionary. Solid layout, i like it, ill probably even play it alot, but it doesnt blow me away. One problem i have is the whole kill zone in the lil drop area. you cant tell that its an instant death until you've already met your demise. there should be some kind of warning, i can understand that you'll figure it out after falling in it, but you shouldnt have to figure it out by dying from it.

    Excellent job though Nexn, Feature worthy.

    So, I've been playing this map for a while now. Actually, quite a while. I've probably played on this map at least 40 times in the past few weeks, and haven't found a single substantial flaw. I've found two spawn snipes, but both are difficult to accomplish, and they even seem as if they were intentionally put into the map. The depth of movement is incredible, and allows you to really baffle an opponent. Originally I had planned to do full review on the map, very similar to the Review Hub's format, a thorough one which would take into account the very minute details of every facet and aspect of this map. I tried to find flaws. I failed. Upon writing this review, I realized something; I was essentially writing a feature thread, full of nothing more than blissful praise. This map, in my eyes, deserves a perfect score. Thank you for creating this masterpeice, Nexn.

    Thanks bro. Glad you enjoyed it. Hopefully I can get a feature. ;) The two spawn snipes you mentioned were kept purposefully. There's actually a few ways to predict spawns and snag a spawn kill if you play it perfectly.

    I've been noticing them, it's great having someone 1v1 against you that knows the spawns as well as you do. That's why I loved Guillotine, though there aren't nearly as many spawn kills on this map.

    But yeah, if any map deserves a feature, it's this one. It's already having heavy influence over a few of my maps, and I'd love to talk about the design process with you eventually.

    I have a new map I'm just finishing, and all credit goes to this map for inspiration. This is a great map, with the jumppad to make it amazing. Any maps you make in the future, sign me up to test!

    No ARs? thats the one thing keeping me from drooling on my comp and screwin it up. Since there is DMR starts it seems only fair to me. I hope you don't mind if I make it AR starts most of the time. Or if headshot hoes are that desperate, maybe magnums. Just sayin I loves my ARs. DMR is fine though. You got a dl from me nonetheless.

    Good Splitting of level construction. Props on the map, play's smoothly and with a clever "always wanting to one up the opponents with tactics as much as skill" attitude.

    Btw, very nice image use at the start of the post for the gametypes. =)

    You should enter this into the 2 v. 2 contest, I have enjoyed this map for awhile and I think it could win, even with its unusual play style. Also, were you the first to use the jump pad, because I have seen about 3 other maps that use it now, but this was the first map I saw it on.

    Every once in a while there comes a map that really makes me jelouse i didn't make it. This is one of those. I think it's a stellar map with a great design and flow. It's well made and truly feels like a map it's self. My only concern is the man cannon in the lobby that lifts to the custom. It feels very much out of place, i know it's used as another route to the custom, So i was thinking maybe instead put a ladder on the wall on the other side of the lobby. Just some food for thought. Either way, AWESOME MAP.

    This is how Halo should be played, with unlimited Sprint and DMR starts. To me, it is way more fun and still competitive. It's such a great game type, I might have to use it in a future map of mine.

    That lift mechanic is very interesting, I've never seen it before and it works really well. the best thing about this map as a 1v1/2v2 map is the mobility and how you can jump onto railings to escape from your opponent and reach new areas. All the new ideas put into this map makes it stand out really well. This map is amazing, I'd give it a 10/10. The only problem that I've encountered is that my friends don't like it because I beat them ;). But that's me, not the map.

    this is such a great map, the best 1v1 map that I've played on in a long time. I couldn't make anything as amazing as this, but then again I've never tried to make a 1v1/2v2 map. I'd like to make one built for the same game type as this map, is that ok with you?

    Thanks so much man. The man-cannon was actually the last addition to the map, and was needed very much for the overall flow of the entire map. If I could do it over again, I'd probably work that into the design more. As it stands now, it doesn't bother me that much, and I actually like the way it looks, and that's a big feat because I'm insanely picky about how my maps look; I mean, I might even go back and make a v2 to fix a few things that I'm not too fond of in the map. I experimented with different designs and styles, and ended up settling on this one. Glad you like the map though, means a lot.

    Same goes for you, thank you so much man. When I was designing the map I was really trying to focus on movement and how I could make it more interesting, to the level of Quake and UT, where movement becomes a huge part of the gameplay, other than the usual weapon control and positing like most Halo maps. The idea for unlimited sprint actually came before designing the map, so in turn, the map was designed specifically for it. I appreciate the comment bro and give you full permission to use the gametype, even use the jump pad idea if you'd like.

    This is god damn impressive work sir. I really love the old Damnation/Halo CE feel to it. I'd love to see what you can do in the way of a classic 4v4.

    Thanks bro. If I can ever get my 360 fixed, I'll show you. I have a few 4v4 designs that I was working on, as well as 4 1v1/2v2 maps that were ready for release, and 2 more that were in progress. It's horrible. I really just hope that my HDD is okay, since that was the first thing to stop working before the 360 got the RROD. :(

    I'm kind of glad someone brought this thread back to the top because I've had this map on my HDD for a while but never got back to commenting. Sequence is very enjoyable, I think I could even just run and jump around the map by myself for while lol. The jump pad itself is quite ingenious and I was thinking about incorporating one on a map as well. I hope you get your 360 fixed soon because I remember seeing your thread previewing some of your new maps and look forward to playing on them.

    Yeah me too, I had thought the map had died lol. I've still yet to see the jump pad be used in a decent map, though I haven't really looked much. Would be cool to see some maps with it, yours included. And I hope I get it fixed too, as I really would like to release the maps I was working on. I'll let everybody know if I get it fixed.

    well there's my map which sort of makes fun of your map, does that count as a legitimate use of your jump pad lol.
