Is there any way to stop a vehicle from being able to capture a hill? I know you can go to hill properties, movement, vehicle, nad set it none. That forces the player out of the vehicle upon entering the hill, but i need to make it so players in the hill can be splattered, but the ghosts trying to splatter the players cannot contest/secure the hill. Does anyone know if this is possible?? Thanks in advance.
I wish I could help. I actually want to do almost the exact opposite for my invaion map, anybody know how?
Have you tried reducing the height of the hill to 0.5? It may be low enough so that someone in a vehicle won't register being in the hill. Haven't checked the setting, so not sure if 1/2 increments are still available... I think they were there in Halo 3. You can have half increments, but then if a player jumps, he/she is out of the hill which i do not want to happen
hmm, how about modify hill traits to disallow vehicle use...done, you can drive the ghost in and instantly be forced out but then it's stuck until the hill moves...already said (this could be fixed with shield doors perpendicular to the ground this would slide the hog out of the hill, they only affect vehicles which are not in use)
Teleporter on the hill to teleport vehicles out. Preferably teleport vehicles into an infinite awesome loop of awesome because it's hilarious.
If he set it up right so that the vehicles kept auto-porting (stuck in a loop), then he could also set it up so that if they got out of their vehicles they would get ported back to the map.
I think the reference point of vehicles is about .3 or so above that of humans which is why the boats trick works. You should be able to do that for vehicles. I have some other possible solutions if you post more info on how the game works.
