    Requesting Move to
    "Halo: Reach Custom Content"

[aname="top"]This[/aname] thread's aim is to help you in getting your screenshots embedded (or put into) your thread. Not only that, the pictures will remain in their full resolution and high definition quality! The tutorial is to be followed after taking screenshots ingame (you can do this by starting up a "Forge" or "Custom Game" map, quitting out, going into theater, and taking screenshots). Enjoy the tutorial!

This is a revised version of a thread that was posted before that one...although I suppose I'll have to explain myself as I reposted it:

This thread was posted to be a comprehensive and simple guide to embedding screenshots. The one currently stickied is outdated, cluttered, and confusing. This guide is regularly updated to keep track of all changes (and provides a clean informational box informing you of such). The thread also takes kindly to any suggestions or changes that are suggested to help the thread stay a community-fueled one. I am also more than willing to help anyone having trouble.

of course that isn't the only way....other image uploading sites, you can go right from your fileshare as sometimes the recent screenshot section doesn't update properly, instead of downloading the very large picture you could also right click the smaller image (not the thumbnail) and select "save image as".

Best to post this kind of stuff in existing threads on the exact topic instead of creating another thread.

Please read the posts on the thread already made before posting to see if your comment has already been replied to.

Dude WTF thers all ready one of thes you wh-

Oh. Well in that case I think I might actually revise my old copy-pasta post I use to tell new members how to post pictures with a link to this guide. It's kinda true that the original Picture Posting Guide is complicated as hell to a new member. What's more, this one actually has pictures. You have my full support with this, even if some people are too lazy to look at the reasons why you made this thread.

Thank you. I was originally going to update the old thread, but it was in the wrong section.

That's true, but it isn't as easy to go back if the person is going too fast. And what if you don't have a good internet connection? The video would take a longer time to load than pictures.

You did remind me, though, that some people like to put videos on their thread. Maybe I'll include a tutorial on how to do that as well.

I'm confused. You revised an old thread to replace a new one that's better than the old one or this one, all despite the fact than copying the image URL straight from recent screenshots works fine with the new bungie.net (or at least it has recently for me).

You may want to word that a bit differently. I did try out what you said, though, and it worked. The only problem is that when you click on it to see a larger view, it tries to download it onto your computer instead of showing you the full image.
