    Natural Asymmetrical Map Made on Tempest

    Download Foresight Here

    Thanks to Everyone that has helped with the map so far... Special Thanks to Bleuprint, SecretSchnitzel, and Controlix. Foresight was a midnight 8 hr forge session gone good... It is my first asymmetrical map that I have actually finished. Foresight is a natural asymmetrical map that is made on Tempest. It is very open with lots of LOS, but the natural structure of the map seperate the strong points of the map from the weak points very good. The sound of the maps cannon is also quite a bit less of a problem due to the location I made the map in. The map is going through lots of testing still tring to perfect the spawn and objective locations, so if you have any suggestions about the map or the placement of the spawns or the objectives please feel free to post them here and I will try to address them ASAP.

    I think it's really cool how you were able to incorporate pre-existing features in this map. Most forged maps on Tempest work around it. I think you pulled it off nicely. It's well built and smooth. Also, it's a perfect size for 4v4. I think anything more tends to get too chaotic. The LOS are good and there is ample cover without becoming too convoluted - a big plus. Great job.

    Thanks Combs, I didn't try to do to much with the top space of the map, because it did not need much at all. The Middle Plat is where the map really started and I worked around it from there. Going to talk to Blaze about my rocks on the map and see if any need redone, maybe around the middle plat but I am not sure so I will ask him. Maybe after you play on it I could get you to up the score... Maybe.

    @Titmar

    Thanks and Make sure you try out KOTH on the map it is my favorite as of right now.

    Posting simply because of how well you used Tempest. There are some spots that I think could be improved aesthetically, and a few areas that could use some more forge creativity, but overall it looks like an interesting map.

    It is the first version of this map and I usually go through 3 or 4 version of a map before I have the map where I like it. For this map though I am thinking that the natural feel is more then enough in spots and would only add aesthetics to the wall by the V lift and the OV room, just wanting to keep the object count down due to me not wanting to have screen lag on a open map. It is very important to me that the map not have screen lag, because I don't want anything effecting how well the map plays. If you would like to make some suggestions I will try and put them in and see how they work.

    @drew

    Thanks Hope you Enjoy the Gameplay.

    Wow, can't believe this map is so many pages back. This map plays the new KOTH extremely well. Great combination of tempest and forge objects. It's all very fitting and really fun map to play on.

    Dude, very very nice use of the natural tempest map it looks amazing and it flows... it flows really really well for the limited amount of pieces you can have on tempest... i love it

    This is the best map i have seen on Tempest. Its very nice that you posted up a video, that really did the trick for me. If you have room/money, it be cool if you can add just some little things to the wall so its not just gray, but that just my thought. Over all its a great looking map, and its defiantly a keep. keep up the good work.

    I'm Liking this, it reminds me a lot of my map. The aesthetics really caught me. I'm gonna give this a try later tonight

    For the people that don't have Tempest, I am releasing a version made on Forge World Tomorrow Sometime. For the People that do have Tempest please try and run games on it and give the feedback here because it is hard for me to get games on the map due to someone in my party never has the maps. This is why I have done the Forge World Version, so I can make the Tempest Version Better.

    P.S. @sharebear and @longshot thanks and try to come back and give feedback if you can after you play.

    Wow, I can't believe I haven't commented on this yet, I have to say based on your gameplay video that the map looks amazing. You were quite creative to use Tempest as a canvas. I like the second screenshot of what I guess is a silent lift, I may have to steal the idea (of rotating them so that they are more effective). Again, nice use of the natural areas of the map, I've been searching for an area on Tempest to start building a map and just can't get any inspiration.
