Slender man is climbing into your windows, and snatching your marble hornets up. Serious explanation: Slender man is a mythical being, started on the internet, who is suppposedly tall with very long limbs, and has no face. He kills people or something, and Marble Hornets is just a series of youtube videos using Slender man as the scarry stalker who terrrorizizes (i forget his name) It is a hoax, but is fun to watch none the les.
Slenderman is normally found in old pictures with children. If it wasn't any creepier, those children either die or are never to be seen again soon after. And Slenderman stalks J, Alex... Everyone.
Of course the series is a hoax. I just more or less think of it like Cloverfield. If you go into watching the series with an open mind and just realize that this just supposed to keep you intrigued more than scared you'll actually enjoy it, and once you delve a little further in, you start thinking of ways you could divulge a Slenderman story. Next thing you know, you're creeping yourself out with your own thoughts
Never heard of any of this, and I have been watching the everymanHYBRID thing for about 14 episodes now and this is pretty much what I'm thinking
Except EverymanHybrid isn't as good as Marble Hornets or Tribe Twelve. If they played it off a little less goofy then they'd be more enjoyable.
This thread is recockulous. Seriously, it's all fake. All of it. It's just some elaborate series some guys who live in the middle of nowhere made because there's nothing to do in the poe dunk little towns they live in.
Of course it's fake. But Flashpoint understands how to immerse himself (If a bit too much.) Immersion is the key to an epic horror experience.
Do you honestly have to post if you don't like something? These types of things are for people with open minds. I personally enjoy watching these things, even knowing they're a hoax. It's just fun and a little thrilling to watch the characters. Do you not like to watch movies? This would be exactly like a movie, except split off into small segments.
People don't really realize that the genre this type of thing falls under is actually called ARG (Alternative Reality Game)
