Disagree I'm getting addicted to Harvest ME and now I don't want to play Minecraft as much... NOOOOOO
Wow, that sucks. When I go on multiplayer servers I dig small tunnels around someone's house and then when they leave I'll rearrange the stuff in their house (move doors, chests,etc) and then hide back in my hole before they come back. It's funny because half of the people don't even know that Sneak Mode hides your name when behind walls so they don't suspect me of doing anything. I love the chat reactions too.
Well, from what I've heard... the entire server got griefed. Someone destroyed basically half my house, and then proceeded to screw with my crops, trees, and such. Generally causing chaos. Eventually they stumbled upon my good stuff chest and stole 10 diamonds, 2 stacks of iron, and a decent amount of gold.
Yea, I wouldn't ever actually steal from the person, maybe just move some things between chests to **** with their mind.
Working on lava ceiling, any way to make a lava refill the block you take with a bucket; kind of like what you can do with water?
Well, me and my brother got griefed too, but we cut our losses, made a new mine, and now are bigger and better than ever
From what I gather; it's just a different server mod. It doesn't force plugins that you don't want to install, and it's fairly easy to use. Introducing Bukkit - a new Minecraft Server mod
Well, given how many people have been hit, we just have to look for someone who has tons of chests, 50ish diamonds and tons of other valuables.
Good news, it's a temporary world and so it's not a huge lost. But, I do plan to do an event when we have our old world back to apologize for everything that happened when we was using the vanilla server. Bad news, with the vanilla server, any kinda anti-grief stuff we had is lost and the chance of finding the person who did it is next to impossible. :/
