So, long time no see, but it's finally here, my Derelict remake, entitled Dreadnought! The gameplay is VERY smooth, there is no frame rate drop AT ALL. It doesn't lag even in 2 players split-screen, but I didn't test it on 4 players split-screen. It features all the original weapons, with the following differences: - Bottom platform was lowered to allowed team shooting, a must in Reach's gameplay since you don't have a 3sk weapon like H1. - Camo was replaced with the Plasma Pistol. - AR was replaced with Shotgun to balance the team's sides. - Magnum replaced with DMR, the REAL sucessor of the H1 Pistol. - Respawn times are a litte different. wtf no replies to this thread? This map is one of the best remakes for derelict :/ try throwing a plasma nade on the sniper and u can knock it down to the first floor kind of like h1.
This map really hasn't received the kind of attention that I feel that it deserves. It is the best Derelict remake that I've played. I don't exactly understand why it does not support elites.... the only issue that I see are the teleporters, which you can just raise. Also, something to consider.....I added some purple lighting, colorblind and juicy effects to give it a CE feel. I thnk that it looks pretty good with those added
isnt this from the CE campaign when the flood try's to kill you. as soon as you enter this room ( if i remember good) some crazy ***** ass marine starts shooting you with a pistol, so you finish him :'( well he was a goner ayway. if it is from campaign im so hating it, i never knew how to get outta there xD xD xD no but serieus its a good remake
This is obviously Derelict, which obviously makes this a good map. Got my DL, 'nuff said right there. Shoot me a FR and maybe we'll run some customs on it some time.
