    I. How to get out of the map

Escaping the limiting boundaries of Forge World is extremely easy, and can be done a number of ways. Fly up to the "elastic" soft barrier in the sky, the one at the top of the map. From here, look above and place an object. What I usually do is place a flat block, and then place a spawn on it. When placing the object, make sure to spawn it above the barrier by looking up, pressing X to bring up the menu, and then spawning the object. Then, raise the object higher than the barrier with RB. Do the same for the spawn point you are placing on top of it. You can also accomplish this by placing a teleporter outside of the barrier as well.

Once outside of the barrier, you will find that Forge World's restrictive push boundaries are no longer an issue, and you can now forge with more space on Forge World!

Does this really work? If so, how much additional space can you use? Are there any other barriers/kill zones up there?

And do you think you could add pictures and video to this thread?

And great find, this could be quite useful in a lot of respects

1 Not much space upwards there becouse of the soft kill zones.
2 I dont have a hard drive for my xbox 360 S, so I can do it as soon as I get one.

Any chance you haven't actually done this and just copied it nearly word from word from Titmar's thread?

Above that elastic barrier is a soft kill zone. However, I saw a video on youtube right after Reach was released. Some people were forging. One of them was rotating the big brace very fast, and slung shot another forger out of the forging area. He was going very fast and he used a jet pack to keep his speed up. He passed through the soft kill zone before the 10 seconds were up.

It was an interesting video. He literally floated across the entire forge world canvas for several minutes or so, well past the soft kill zone. I lost the film clip. I don't know if bungie patched it since.

Once you leave the forge area, past the elastic ceiling, you are in a soft kill zone. That zone surrounds the forge area. But surrounding that is another elastic wall. You can push a teleport way out there, but eventually it gets stuck and won't go any further.

If I find the video on youtube again, I will link it here for you to see. It was very fascinating to see. I estimate he was more than a kilometer away from the forge area and about a kilometer high in the air.

Of all the things I've been having trouble with on forgeworld, restrictive boundries and a lack of space have never been among them.

The only thing I can see this being usefull for is forging near the tower that is above the map but there is a soft kill zone almost all around it and it's visual only. you can just walk right through it.
