I've only had 1 play test on this, (like 20 on turnpike), and I still think there needs to be a wall piece in the middle under where the mancannon launches you. Very far sight line there from side to side. Other than that the flow of the game I was in was pretty good.
Looks nice, I personally don;t care much for mig maps, but you'll have to get me in on some of the test sessions if possible.
Some other pieces have been added down there and reduced the line of sight. There's also a neutral hog down there that provides even more cover when not in use. I'm not sure what mig stands for, but if you meant MLG then you are mistaken. This map was designed and built with BTB in mind (but plays 4v4 surprisingly well).
Now this is what a BTB map should look like. Nibs I have to say, that this is by far your best map yet. The best part is that I have come to that conclusion before even seeing the map itself. If it's on Forgeworld, (which I hope it is) don't hesitate to invite me sometime to actually see this beauty.
The map is on Forge World so no worries there. We ran into a couple problems with the spawns but I think I know how to fix the flow a bit. Once these fixes have been made I'll definitely start inviting more people for testing.
NIBS, I sure hope this doesn't have framerate drops. Long lines of site, large object density, big team, a cool roof.... Sounds like a trouble man. Also, that rocket spawn is a death pit/camping location all at the same time, it may bork flow down around there (or might not.)
This may come as a surprise, but this map boasts ZERO framerate lag. It has only been tested a few times now, but certain aesthetic pieces have been removed. Moving to obtain rockets can be risky. Especially since it is rushed at the beginning of every game by at least a couple people. The spot itself isn't campable at all seeing as it is a dead end that restricts your vision of most of the map. A lot of the long lines of sight have already been adjusted (mainly the routes by the bases). We're also doing more things to promote players to move away from the center.
OMG I was just thinking that a little while ago. What if I cursed his map or some ****?! Now you might actually get the expected frame rate issues that you are missing. I'm..........so............sorry Nibs Q.Q
