the problem i had with the mirrors edge demo was that i didn't find the control scheme to be immersive in the slightest.
You hear that winston? The controls weren't immersing. WHEN WILL MIRRORS EDGE UPDATE THEIR CONTROL SCHEME FOR CRIPPLED GAMERS! The answer is never.
Klaydude we are not done discussing Mirror's Edge. The control scheme is unconventional, but it is immerse once you learn it. You will most likely suck on your first play through, but that feeling is a throwback to when games used to be hard. Where it took more than a minute to get good at the game. Yes most people will not invest as much time as I have into the game, but damnit it deserves a chance. I guess Swedish game companies aren't mainstream enough for you Trans, with your A button to jump bull ****.
I liked Mirrors Edge Grif, not gonna lie. The controls do take more getting used to than the standard game though, but once you get the hang of them the game is insanely fun. It's definitely my favorite underrated game.
Mirror's Edge could have been better if: The police weren't retarded/weak (ow my balls, heres my gun that I can't aim worth ****) The city wasn't ****ing sparkling (a more realistic texture would be a bit more inviting) Something like trashcans or boxes to throw A slight bit of randomization (as far as the enemy AI go) so that people like grif aren't completing levels blindfolded Less rooftop, more groundwork Less linear (not just point a to point b, more like heres and and heres b: good luck)
Mirrors Edge was amazing, it only had one problem. "Hi, I'm mirrors edge. My platforming is ****ing amazing, but gun play ****ing sucks." Half the levels later "Oh hi, you remember when you just got to run around? Nah, you're gonna be shooting people now. A LOT. have a fun time"
