    haha, i guess.

now if you could get something like a crate to do that with, that would be better cause you cant break it, ya know?

yes but the problem with a crate is that you can be pushed into the space where it goes by the grav lift

Did you try barriers? grav lifts can move those and you can't break them.

Is there any possibility that this kind of thing could be used to trigger the spawning of immovable objects? I was trying to help someone out with a giant TV map, and I wanted to see if he could use an overshield to turn on a TV that spelled out HALO using the merged-in sides of walls. I don't quite know how this technique works in the first place either.

well, there is a grav lift pushing the pallet towards a crack in the wall, but the pallet is being stopped by a custom powerup, once you move into the weapon holder "switch" the custom powerup disappears and the pallet is free to slide into the crack and out of the way, where it is destroyed by falling fusion coils and will respawn and "close" when it is set to.

There is a problem. When picking up the CP you get stuck to the wall by the grav lift.

I had a look at this and I found it pointless and stupid.
After a while it stopped working.

You could go the other way with it, put movable objects in front of the television. Put a stack of crates in front of the screen, then have a button that creates a chain reaction pushing those crates out of the way.

If you already have a bunch of walls inside the television then that should give you a bunch of different ledges within the TV to set fusion coils on. The button would cause one coil to drop, and then explode somehow, that would create a chain, resulting in all of the coils inside the television exploding at once, hopefully pushing the boxes out of the way and exposing the screen.

The explosions would also create a nice flash, similar to what you see when you turn on a regular television.

I like the map by the way, even though it's just a hallway and door it's a nice looking hallway and door.

Okay, stupid - probably not, pointless - Still yes, its in an awkward spot, its too big and it takes up too much of the budget.

Surely a smart man such as yourself would be able to figure out a way to make it smaller and cheaper?

Also, just smart placement would be good. have it in a spot on the map that is already pretty much built boxed like how he has it.

dude, you do know youre not meant to use that exact map and build off it (well, you can if you want, it's just a lot more useful if you place it in your own positions), the map is solely displaying my design, youre supposed to just copy it if you want it in a different place, and lots of the budget is taken up by the corridor because i tried to make it a pretty unique corridor, however, there is only enough resources for 3 if you want absolutely all of the doors detail
