    The map looks sick. It's a shame that you do an overview really, I'm kind of finding it hard to piece it together. I guess I'll download it and try and get a game or two on it. Does it work well for 1v1?

    This may help you guys understand the layout better. YouTube - Reach Forge Map: Insomnia

    Hopeful, it works on for 1v1, but the top rather dominates. In 2v2 and 3v3 it gives you a lot more options on how to take control of the top. Using a variety of armour abilities allows you to strategically take control and keep it though with 1 on 1, the one on the bottom will have a harder time regaining control. :) Try it out and let me know what you think.

    My favorite thing about this map is that it's easy to navigate while also being relatively complex. Good job!

    Hmmm.. Shotgun and Rockets seem awfully close together..
    It's actually bigger than I expected. And may I just say that you've done a wonderful job with the aesthetics?
    I'll try and get a game on this ASAP.

    The shotgun and rockets both only have 1 clip all together. If you were too pick up both you would be a sitting duck with an empty set of rockets and short range only shotgun with only a few shots in it, shortly after. So it's not a problem at all, I promise. :)

    It is decently big, but is more of a vertical map, which gives it a massive feel sort of.

    Thank you, I didn't add too much eye candy but I did use what I had after I was done. :)

    I did run-through yesterday, couldn't get a game on it though.
    It's awesome.
    Didn't like how far I was walking to get a needle rifle though ;D (jk it didn't matter)
    And I guess that fixes the rocket/shotgun problem.
    You've managed to make it look good but with no framrate drop, which is awesome.

    I have 6 needle rifles on the map :p 4 of them in main spawns. lol. but anyway. :D Thank you. I hope that you do get a game on it. If you do, I'd love to get some gameplay feedback. :)

    I got to play a few 1v1s on it and it played really well. Sniping was a big part of the game, and it was fun to take control of top. The top area was where most of the action was, and it was like a battle who could keep the top control the longest (I think it would be cool to play KOTH and see who could win by controlling top). Most of the time, having a battle condense mainly to one area is not a good thing, but it manages to play well on your map. It's the most fun I've had playing 1v1. It also works well if there is no radar because it keeps you extra alert. Great Job!

    Are your reviews always this weak? Don't lie to yourself by saying that there is nothing wrong with this map. There is always room for improvement.

    OT: This map looks alright. It almost reminds me of Ivory Tower, really. I think you should remove the filters put onto the screenshots to show the true look of the map, though. Eye candy is good, but I'd much rather see what the map really looks like.

    That is kind of how the king of the hill is set up. Who ever can keep control of the top will be assisting the teamate in the hill directly below. That way, ahving the hill isn't the advantage but having the hight is an advantage to keeping the hill.

    Even if the review was weak, he did give an opinion on the map not the screen shots. :p but thank you anyway for the reply. Theres a video though and you could always download if you wanna see what it looks like without the screenshot filters. :)
