Well, it's out of beta and ready for play. One flaw though. The zombie can fall off the platform.. so if he does it on purpose, boot him. Improvments in this version: Interlocked arena Bigger area making it easyer to dodge Plasma gernades have been added because of how big the arena is These pictures are from the beta: Over look of the map. Yup, those boxes are it (This is a beta screen shot, so no interlocking.) Missed me Oh crap Pictures from the recreated version: Over look of the new arena. Overshot of the arena where the Meteor Caller spawns. Toss gernades into the arena below and hurt people. Try it it's fun! (Forgehub and me are not responseable for any injurys or fatalitys when playing this map.) Im really sorry guys that I kinda rushed the screenshots. I know I didn't get a picture of the platform where the Meteor Caller spawns, but all it is is a wall with 1 weapon holder with spike gernades, frag gernades, and fire bombs. They respawn after one is thrown. Thanks to Googermeister for the pictures in the beta, he was the only one on at the time who wanted to help me with pictures, so don't go and call it bad because there we're only two people. This is actually really neat. Very unique. Polish it up a bit, and this would be great for a new Featured mini-game map. And just because I wanna show you up:
This looks very sloppy, and the gametype looks okay. BTW: if you're gonna make a map that has a really basic layout, Interlock it. Not sure how it'd play, looks like it'd e fun at first but it would get boring after a while.
Like I said I WILL be interlocking (im guessing you didn't have enough time to read until I said that.), I don't have enough time to do it tonight, this is just for tonight. Not only will I be interlocking, I might use walls and not these boxes, your right it's very sloppy ill agree with you there, but ill be fixing it, just stay tuned in it should be up tomarrow at about 7:00 PM, if not later. I also have no idea why I put those 6 single boxes. Ill fix that as well. And Nemihara... thats just NOT fair. So, let me restate the question: "Since when have you seen a blue shining plasma meteor that sticks to people and blows up lately?"
The same can be said of the Spike Grenades, minus the blue part. Looks interesting, but what if the zombie falls off? Is there a grav lift or something?

Ill be putting a teleporter around areas he can land on. If I can't, ill make it so his damage resistance is 10%, and if he desides to fall into the pit, the humans can kill him. Ill be putting a energy blocker behind the platform so he can't jump out of the game. Hey thanks. I could use some help in some screenshots or maybe you could help with interlocking tomarrow. Ill look into it.
Great idea. Inspiration is the stuff of forge. Linibidux, You really nee to learn something, it's called tact.
It seems to easy for the zombie to get a kill. Maybe throw a deployable cover in there because that only covers one side. No bubble shields. And yes for the final please interlock and make it look beautiful.
i was expecting another noobish foundry wide death-pit with insta-respawn fusion coils so this is a pleasaant surprise, i shall try it out and see what happens.
i was about to download, because this looks awesome, but i thought about it, and i know im damn close to my 100 item limit...so ima wait til v2 is done, but i can't wait very long, hurry up!
linubidix.. did't you run that thread with if interlocking made or broke a map? just because people disagree with you... does not mean that your way is the only way. interlocking is not a nessacary tool. and like he said. its the rough copy of his map and he\s trying stuff out.
Added a Map Progress and Other Fixes % to the thread. Scroll down on my original post to see what percent the map progress is on and the other fixes is on. Im not sure weither or not to do that. Im working on the real map right now, and it looks kinda big. But not so big that the zombie can't get a kill. I think he means that my way of making a map is first I make a crap version of the map, smoothe it together, then release it. Kinda like Bungie and the Warthog. The Warthog is nothing but a black block on the inside, Bungie detailed it, then released it. Im going by the same process.
Picture of the first layers of boxes incomplete. This is just a picture of my interlocking. Hey guys, well im not making a 2nd top boxes for 2 reasons: 1st, I thought i would need it because players could gernade jump over the boxes, but then it came to me: I can make it so they have no gernades!! Lol. 2nd, It makes the map look better. So this makes the map progress up to 96%. Should be released fully by 1:00 Pm my time. (Florida.)
