    I haven't posted in a while but here we go. I've been working on a city map that is set for Infection, Multiflag, and possibly Invasion. At the moment, I just have a lonely overview but I promise to update tomorrow with more pictures.

    I need advice on the FX and if anyone has anything to help set up Invasion, please let me know. Thanks

    Awesome idea dude are you looking at ODST for inspiration? Juicy and Purple FX is a nice night atmosphere.

    Yeah it is inspired by ODST. I was going for that abandoned city sort-of-feel that you get during the night time from the campaign. That is the backdrop that I wanted for Invasion but I need help on what is needed for the gametype.

    I know there was another great city type map posted here a long time ago. It was well forged and all, but framerate lag made it unplayable. If you don't already know all about framerate lag, I suggest looking here. This looks like a great start for your map, but there's not that much unique about a normal cityscape map if gameplay happens all on the ground. Where these maps tend to excel is when you start adding skybridges between structures so players can access all parts of the map without ever touching the ground.

    Thanks Pyro. When I get back on tomorrow, I'll check for any framerate issues. Plus, I'll see what I can do about adding some walkways or bridges up by the buildings.
