As a Forger with classic forgers block, I wondered, how many main objects should there be in my map? I dropped into the chat box and asked. My return was astonishing!
Answers were from -1 to 3.14... to 10000! The first realistic number I saw was 13.
Here's for Adelyss for giving me a number, 13(7 was a bit too small for me)!
So now 13 objects are augmenting the terrain into a SMALL map.

    What's here-(13)
    Coliseum Wall 2x....(2)
    Room, Double 2x....(4)
    Cannon, Man, Light 2x....(6)
    Large Walkway Cover 1x....(7)
    Dish 1x....(8)
    Staircase 1x....(9)
    Pyramid 1x....(10)
    Landing Pad 1x....(11)
    Tower, 2 Story 1x....(12)
    Tower, 3 Story 1x....(13!)

    Weapons-(6)
    Plasma/Frag Genades (4 Total)
    [IMG][IMG]
    Detached Mounted Machine Gun (5)
    Detached Plasma Turret (6)

(By the way, does anyone know how to make a turret automatically be detached nicely(falling crates won't do here)? I only can place them looking at walls)

Seems like it could be ok for 1v1, but I'm unsure about the placements, so I'm posting pictures here!

you should be able to rotate a turret just like rotating any other object

If it's in an open area, you could have it spawn in the air and a fusion coil spawn above it to break the turret and drop it into the map. When you do this to prevent a fusion coil randomly dropping onto the map, set the turret respawn time to 1 and set the fusion coil respawn time to the respawn time you actually want for the turret.
