My Black Ops was broken today, so I went out and got the Prestige Edition For an Early Christmas Present. But weeks ago, My Uncle said that the 4 Original Maps from World at War were going to release sometime after christmas for about 1200 MSP. This rumor infact is believed by thousands. If this rumor is true, thank-you Treyarch. 1200 MSP may sound a little much, but 300 MSP fora Remade and more difficult version of Zombies then Hell yeah! Does anyone have any news about this?
I highly doubt it to be honest, not that Ive heard anything about it though. That would be like Bungie putting Recon and the Elite Officer armor out on the marketplace. From what I can see, those maps are just for the Prestige edition, so Im doubting they're going to give away something that was exclusive to a higher edition.
I disagree with this simply because what you're trying to argue are two different things. Bungie giving armor as a pre-order bonus is simply an aesthetic addition players receive for in game. Maps on the other hand, are something that could keep people playing longer and having more fun overall with the game. I hoping they release them at some point.
I am almost positive that they will indeed put the classic Zombies maps on the Marketplace. Why? 1) People who have them complain that they can never find anyone to play with. 2) People who don't have them want them. (me being one of them) 3) Activision/Treyarch get more money. We get maps and they get money. It's a win-win situation. Why WOULDN'T they do it?
I do think they'll bring the maps back too. Like jameslied1 said, they get money, we get maps that are already made with updates. Only thing is, they might have to change a lot of the map layout because WaW zombie maps are much easier than Black Ops. You can tell, if you look at Kino der toten that the design was concerned about keeping running space limited. The theater is the only place where you can run and even at that, they still took all the seating area out of play so you have a fairly thin alley where juggernog is located. In WaW, the first room in nacht der untoten was like 100x20ft big with 2 small pillars in the middle. The maps are harder in Black ops. All this included, i think they'll bring the maps big with quite a few changes
No, I've played the classic maps before (my friend has the Hardened Edition) and the layouts haven't changed, and I doubt they would change them when some people already have them.
really? who already has the maps... and they might not change the maps because of the work it may take... i don't know.
Whoever got the Hardened/Prestige Edition got the maps, haha. xD The maps will come out eventually, they'd be losing a TON of money if they didn't. PS: Who's your Uncle? Is he just a gamer or is he someone big or what?! D<
