    Actually, yea... they are pros. I know for a fact that that's Neighbor, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't play with fakes... so... yea.

    It would explain why you failed so hard. Beat in 97 seconds... wow.

    Did you go in with a set team, or no?

    I went in by myself and was like I wonder if those are really pros or not and then I got stomped on in 97 seconds.

    Oh okay. Maybe if you had better team members with communication, the fight might not have been so one-sided.

    AMEN! Anchor 9 is by far one of the best maps Bungie's released for Reach to date!
    Hopefully it won't be long till v3 comes about as the MLG map submissions wraps up on the 17th. There will be at least one symmetrical 2 base in it and one guardian/lockout-esque as well. I submitted my map Amalgam to them... hoping for the best.

    I'm not digging Reflection much at all for MLG Slayer. The map feels too "closed" and restrictive, and there aren't really any real set ups aside from camping top hallway to the best of my knowledge.

    I want to say they changed the height variation, because teams could hold back hardwood with sniper and snipe plenty easy to top hallway on Ivory Tower. Pretty much a reverse set-up of holding top hallway. It's effective, but Reflection has lost a lot of it's luster to me, since the Halo 2 days. Just seems OK, now.

    Yeah that was tD, Tz (lol). tD Richard is Heinz, they picked him up in place of Totz who went to Instinct. Pretty cool, dude.

    EDIT: Also I tweeted that Bungie thread about runtime maximums to KC and it seems like Bungie are now addressing it, as well as the To4 vs. randoms issue. The latter should hopefully prevent what befell you, Tz :p.

    Just played my 40th game of Sanctuary. IN A ROW. Still have not played on Zealot or Reflection. I haven't even seen Reflection as an option actually. I'm getting REALLY pissed off.

    When are the options getting fixed, and when can we expect any new maps to be added?

    No estimates on either tbh, I haven't heard anything about a timescale for problem fixes (runtime max/To4 problems) and v3 is (I would guess) in the works, but nothings been said officially yet as far as I'm aware. I'm hoping soon, though I guess KC wants to test the hell out of it before release and fair enough tbh.

    I was never an MLG fan back in H3, but now MLG in Reach is so much more balanced even than just regular TS. Sanctuary is def a fav of mine.

    Two of my friends, neither of whom liked MLG in H3 (one didn't even really like H3 much at all) now agree that MLG is a lot of fun in comparison to the regular gametypes. I played TS yesterday and Asylum feels really weird after getting used to Sanc.

    EDIT: Does anyone more knowledgable on MLG testing than me know if they're planning to rebuild Sanc on Tempest for v3?

    They'll definitely at least remake Sanctuary on Tempest. There's no good reason not to, and KC is aware.

    This version is closer to original Sanc than Reach MLG Sanc, and it's on Tempest, and KC has been tweeted and AIM'd and messaged about it. Not sure if he'll use that one specifically, but I don't see any good reason not at least remake the current one on Tempest.

    Downloaded and it looks nice, I had a run around with a friend and we liked the raised Car ledges and aesthetic changes. Do you know if KC has begun testing for v3 in any public sense?

    Lead gametype designer, basically makes all the gametype and map set up decisions.

    There is something I just can't get a grip on in Reach MLG. I was really good at MLG in H2 and H3, but for some reason everything about my game has been really bad. Hopefully I'll find out what this bad habit is and move on.

    I'm dying to see more maps in the circuit. Playing the same 4 maps over and over is very boring.

    May I ask, why haven't they introduced Pinnacle?

    Zealot is starting to grow on me finally at least. I'm still not a bit fan of it though to be honest... Sanctuary is the only real MLG-esque map atm IMO. Countdown is pretty decent too.

    Pinnacle is my fav map map bungie remade on forgeworld IMO. Where the hell is the sniper on reflection and countdown?

    Sorry, I'm with Schnitzel here, I think that Pinnacle is the worst map in the whole of the MM rotation. Atom and Cliffhanger are pretty bad, but I still just can't stand Pinnacle. To be fair, this is in good part due to the atrocious excuse for a spawn system, which MLG could potentially fix, but I can't think of a single gametype that would be worth playing on it if this happened. It's a horrible standoff much of the time and 'flow' is an overused term in general, but this map really has little to none if you ask me. I can't really speak for how Ascension played in H2, but I have no real love for Pinnacle and don't think an MLG setup would do much/anything to change it.

    Sniper on Reflection is at (I think the H2 callout was) Back Hardwood. Basically above the bottom spawn where the Jetpack is, that white circle on the floor. Dunno if you know this too, but Rocks spawn on the small square of grass below the default Sniper spawn ledge.

    Countdown Sniper spawn varies from gametype to gametype. In Slayer (and, I think, one other gametype, but I can't remember which) it spawns on level 2 overlooking bottom mid, basically in front of the level 2 entrance to middle lift. On other gametypes it spawns where Rockets spawn, on the floor in front of back door. Easiest way to check the gametype specific stuff for Countdown is probably to load it up in Forge and look at the options for each Sniper and Rockets (there are multiple of both to allow for gametype specific stuff).

    Ascension in the H2 circuit was amazing. It really showed which team had the better aggressive start and could work as a team to hold main tower, as well as to make pushes for the 2nd Sniper and Rockets. It took 4 people all in the main tower to hold it, you get the 1 sniper, but if you didn't make those pushes for the rockets, it was extremely easy to lose the tower.

    I'll find that amazing on Ascension video in the 07 circuit.

    However I guess Pinnacle wouldn't work so well if there are AA's (especially JP) involved.
