Hello again. After finishing my Coagulation remake last week I decided I was dissatisfied with how it turned out. It was supposed to be completely accurate but after a time I realised there were several key mistakes and some things that I should have thought out better, so I decided to remake my remake with a second version. Version 2 is a much more accurate remake of Coagulation. The main thing I fixed was the bases. I flipped the struts, added in inclines, completely altered the back arches and the interior of the cellar, including a more powerful grav lift, decorated doorways and a smoother floor. I also edited the weapon and vehicle spawn times to make sure the map played out better, and added in more initial and respawn points so the map could support such classic Halo 2 playlists as Big Team Battle. As an after thought I bumped the minimum player count up to six, as I felt that with four players, it was all about the Banshees and the sniper rifles, which was not at all what I wanted. Overall, this new and improved version of Coagulation pays homage to the original and is a throwback to the days gone by, where the simple maps where the best. This remake honours the principal of two bases, minimal cover and long, long sight lines. Please download and test it with your pals. i like this map because it's like a cross between blood gulch and infinity (from halo CE) and there's alot of open, free space for a lot of hectic action (my favorite kind of action) (lol)

Considering the lower terrain, yes, the bases did have to be stacked two-high, but the lower part (the cellar) is totally hand crafted. They were also made wider and altered sufficiently to emulate Coagulation's aesthetics. If you switch between Halo 2 and this map, the accuracy becomes obvious. But if you have any suggestions as to how to make the bases seem even more like the original, please feel free to share. -Twiggy
