One thing I try to do with my maps is to make them not look like "forge maps".

This is a giant orbital arena. Symmetrical with a proper base at each opposing end. Each base has 3 small levels accessed by ramps at the back side of each base. The upper most level contains a sniper lookout equipped with a mounted machine gun. These are placed to give some coverage but do not offer an unfair advantage. A decorative column hanging from the center of the map also prevents the gunner from shooting directly into the upper levels of the opposing base. A medium size arena occupies the center with a lower level containing the "power" weapons and an upper mezzanine which surrounds the central playing field.

There are 2 smaller bases at opposite ends 90 degrees from the main bases. Shotguns can be found at the front entrance of these with a 2-way transporter located at the back of the base which will put you right above it on the mezzanine.

4 gravity lifts located on the mezzanine will get you to the center platform quickly which is where you'll find the rocket launcher. Without a jet pack, this is the only way to obtain this weapon.

This 2 base arena style map should offer quick and intense combat. Great for Slayer, Swat and objective game types like Stockpile and CTF. I've tested with small parties and this map is tons of fun to play!

I recommend jet packs and DMR's if you're a good shot. 2 teams of 4 seem to work the best but it's also great for FFA as well.

Enjoy and please let me know what you think!

It looks interesting, but it'd be great if you gave us more pictures. You also need to include a decent description of your map. Tell us about it, what made you think of it, et cetera. The more pictures and description you give, the more likely people will download. At the moment, I probably wont until I see some more shots. Just give us a better idea of what it is about.

I agree with you and have edited the description. Sorry I'm new here and also need to subscribe to Bungie Pro which I'll do right away. I plan on providing more pics and will try to do some fly through videos as well. I have quite a few great maps in the works, including an excellent remake of "Construct" and an interesting take on "The Pit" which is called "Perdition".

Anyway, please give this map a test run. I think you'll really enjoy it.

Right on. Sorry, I didn't mean to sound like a prick in that first post. Welcome to FH. I like the new pictures you've put up of your map. I would be down for helping to test this and get in a few games. Nice work here. I'll download and check it out!

Do you not have it in your fileshare? Cause when I click the download link it doesn't show up.

This map definitely looks interesting. I will give it a download and maybe play test it with some friends soon.

I wasn't sure if you were getting Bungie Pro to place more pics in your file share or not. For Screenshots this isn't necessary as Bungie seems to have a Recent Screenshot section which keeps up to 25 of the last screenshots you took. You can link right to there or save those pics to a site like photobucket and then link from there.

Someone was nice enough to share that tidbit with me (although I was already a Bungie Pro member) which helped since I already had too much on my file share. Hoping to save you a buck or two :)

Anyhow, I look forward to testing out your map^^!

P.S. Welcome to Forge Hub, I am also a new member.

Thanks for the welcome! I actually joined Bungie Pro because I have a ton of maps to offer and didn't want to be limited.

I'm also trying to not upload them all too quickly as I'm afraid they'll just get lost. Maybe not but... whatever.

Yeah try this out with your buddies. Lots of quick action on this one. It looks nice but plays even better IMO.
