How dare you sully incognito mode by using it to browse for porn. Ingonito mode was developed so that people could shop for presents without anyone ruining the surprise. Besides, do you really want that icon of a guy in a trench coat in the corner of the screen to make you feel like more of a pervert? Those are personal secrets. I'm sure you know the difference. You realise that Wikileaks does a huge amount of risk analysis before publishing any materials right? Not to mention the people who attack Wikileaks don't care about the state of information freedom, they just don't want egg on the Government's (and America's) face. This is all about defending their own reputation, after doing some terrible things. Things you don't get to distance yourself from.
Don't forget the people out there like me who firmly believe if it does not affect them directly, it's some other dude's problem.
You don't happen to know how to make switches in Reach do you? Invincible gravlifts killed my switch-making ingenuity.
Nah man, have not even considered it yet. I think Budhacrane would be the one to ask though. Him or GO43R. EDIT: LOL! You're mention of switches just got me to thinking of an old as map, one of the first to use a switch in proper competitive game play. Think I just came up with an idea for an invasion map. Wanna help? [br][/br]Edited by merge: Uh, Halo: Reach?
Care to expound? and I don't think he means death traps, and using custom powerups would mean dedicated gametypes.
I do mean death traps. I figured out a way to set up a one-way door (which unfortunately, or in the case of the gametype fortunately, requires a grenade launcher) but I want to have a switch that will kill another player on another platform. I wanted to use killballs, as they can be set to move (and thus fall) but I don't know how to get them to move as you can't use min/max stuff on grav lifts anymore since they're invincible. As for the invasion gametype, I hated it in the beta and haven't touched it since, so I don't know how it really plays.
Best way for kill traps is set a custom powerup in front of something movable that is being pushed by a gravlift. Though if you want it to happen from a distance, you could maybe use the min max thing on the powerup to push a killball downhill? And come on! How fun would THIS MAP be using invasion? But much bigger and far more involved.
IF it's from a distance, how would min/max make the powerup push the killball? and I'm not a fan of remaking other people's maps. lol
Wouldn't really be a remake. Just a copied concept. and simple. Tell the first on to never respawn, second one is near the inside of the killball so that when it spawns it pushes the kill ball in the desired direction. Seccond powerup is told not to spawn at start with some stupid long spawn time on it and min/max set so there is always one on the map. First powerup used, can't respawn so second one is forced to spawn early. Basic Halo 3 Min/Max switch. lol did you forget all the Halo 3 forge tricks when you made the move to reach? Like how to copy an angle not set using coordinates or snap... Need a teacher? I'll re-teach you the ways of the true forge if you teach me how to create good player movement.
To me, RDR was a bit overrated. I stopped playing it after a week. @Waylander: Stopped playing Reach after a week and a half.
