Going to the mountains in about two weeks. I've skied all my life, but I think I'll try out snowboarding, just too try something different. (and to be a cool guy) Thoughts?
Youtuber, starting snowboarding is hard - it's why I stuck with skiing. The way I see, skiing is hard to learn the basics at, but once you learn the basics, it's a lot easier to become really good at it. Snowboarding is the opposite - easy to learn the basics, but once that's done, it's hard to become really good at it.
Spent the night with my gf and her parents last night. I've never felt so awkward and guilty. I had to stare her in the face and lie about what I did the night before. Well, until she finds out, it was totally worth it.
And for a considerable time afterwards. Three options: 1) Come clean. 2) Wait for her to find out. 3) Bet on yourself.
I'ma go for 2, then blame it on drink and drugs. Which is mainly right. Doesn't stop me having lied to her though. I don't think I can come clean, if I could put up with the pressure last night, I can put up with it at any other point. It felt like my stomach was absorbing my body from the inside, which doesn't make sense, but I genuinely had pain from feeling so guilty and worried. Anyway, I've eliminated as many options as I can to lead to her finding out. Should blow over soon, I'm just gonna be nervous for the next couple of weeks.
