    Ancient Conquest

    AoXaia KatáktnõN (Ancient Conquest)

    Greece

Brethren. We are fighting a losing war. Courage, there is hope. We must take back our territory and claim the holdout area so we may gain an advantage over our Roman foe. Our enemy is numerous and overpowering in size, but what we lack in numbers we make up for being the finest warrior in the world. Our brute tactics shall win glory for out land once and for all!

    Rome

Romans, fellow soldiers, today we take the Greeks by force. No more mercy, we must advance into the holdout so as to gain a foothold over our foe. Once we do We will have Greece under our foot and the Roman Empire shall expand to the recesses of the Earth! Onward Brothers!

Welcome. This is a new map which supports none other than COnquest! The map itself is based off of old day battles back in history, when the Greeks are against the Roman Empire. The map's old looking design goes with the nature of the game to be played with it.

As you know, COnquest is a territories Custom game in which you don't use any tactics other than brute force. It focuses on Damage over time to overwhelm you enemies.

    List of Arms:

Assault Rifle: 6. Two in each base and one in the holdout territory, both bases.

DMR: 3 Two in Red base one in blue base.

Needle Rifle: 3 Two in Red one in blue.

Plasma Repeater: 4 Two in each base

Magnum: 6 One in each holdout territory and two in each transition territory.

Plasma Pistol: 2 One in each transition territory.

Plasma Rifle: 2 One in each holdout territory.

Energy Sword: At red base pillar. For decoration only.

Gravity Hammer: At blue base pillar. For decoration only.

The layout of this map is an asymmetrical S shape. As you can see, blue team has less weapons than red team. This comes with the benefit of being closer to the center territory. Battles are often quickly decided near red teams holdout and will progress normally. The map provides maximum movement and flow for most teams to move as a group. The Center territory has mild cover for tactical reasons and the COnquest emblem in the sky really adds to a visual appeal for a map made of mostly rock. This map is appropriately monikered "Ancient COnquest" in the Greek language. This is how fighting would be back then, sans bullets and Full body armor.

Onto some pics and action pics.

Hey Zow you finally posted it. So I'm guessing you're finally content with it. This map played really good the couple times we played on it, so I will definitely give it a DL. I really liked this map because both sides of the map were not equally apart, but you made it so that it is equally fair to both teams, so props for that.

Thank you. I seem to have a knack of turning a tragic OLN misfortune into my favor.

I really like the aesthetics of this map as well as the layout. The weapons seem pretty good though some oddities in choice but I'll give it a dl to see just how well it plays.

Please do, and let me know what you think. This is just one addition to the history of conquest map pack. NExt will be the most memorable battle of Greek and spartan history.
