Too ****ing late mate. And honestly didn't anyone realize that the title is just stroking my ego. You know what they say, "any press is good press." Now speaking of stroking... I'm going to go pet my cat. Jesus what did you think I was saying?
Actually I was thinking of something involving hair, assumably a pet or your head. What did you want us to think?
Well in the Core it was because the actual name was 30 something syllables long. In Avatar, ****, I have no idea. The name sounded fine in the Core, but not in Avatar
It doesn't matter what it's called. It's a name. Things are identified by names. They may as well have called it "Rock-ium" and it wouldn't make a difference.
Very true. A guy's name could be xcvvxcbxcmn and it'll be the same as if is his name was Bob. Except people would have a much harder time saying xcvvxcbxcmn.
What I mean is, they could have made some ridiculous sci-fi name for it, or they could just call it Unobtainium, which is already established canonically as a "rare, impossible mineral".
Thanks to Grif posting that short clip, I rewatched The Core on youtube. nostalgia'd when I remembered I watched this movie on TV a long time ago.
