The ability to change Global Gravity, Amount of Starting Ammo in customs, a way to make weapons undroppable and a fix for the Grenade Launcher in Forge(Starting ammo is amount of shots). All are in-game functions except for the undroppable weapons. List some things you want, but make sure it's possible in the engine.
Isn't the GL thing because there's 1 grenade per clip (ie. per reload) so spare clips = amount of shots? I wouldn't be unhappy if we got the bloom and melee bleed on/off options that some are asking for. Personally I'd prefer if bloom were altered rather than being given the option to remove it entirely, but if Bungie aren't keen to alter the basic nature of it to effectively be much harsher on high rates of fire, then simply having an on/off option would be nice. Some people still want individual weapon damage modifiers as well, and whilst I think this is definite overkill, having explosive damage as a separately alterable option would be nice. Maybe I'm just still clouded by my dislike of Reach nades, idk, this is definitely scraping the barrel a little in terms of things I'd like to see. Overall, the only things I really want to see past something to do with bloom are fixes for glitches (KotH in particular), I think Reach is really solid as is tbh.
If a weapon is set to "fixed", when you drop it, it shouldn't float there. As Pegasi said, KOTH really needs to be fixed. It was my favorite gametype in Halo 3 and I'm very sad to only have played 1 or two games of it because it's so broken.
I don't picture z-fighting to be gone, since ultimately it is caused by the game wanting to render two or more object's texture in the same location causing the textures to ultimately fight for which is to be visible. [I could be mistaken with that, but that is what it seems like to me] So unless Bungie were to make it so you can change an object's visibility priority, so you can choose which object should be see over another, you will just have to stick to the traditional methods.
forklifts and civ vehicles in forge. hayabusa armor (cmon, it looked cool.) changing actual entire object color, not just the highlight colors
"Phased" should retain the counterintuitive behavior, however, as it could be useful in puzzle maps and the like.
Adding some good ideas made by those truly(You Peoplez) to my list and some of my own ideas as well. Edit. Post not updating. Will try again later.
Actually, they did have Generator Defense in Score Attack called Crash Site. But sadly, Bungie got rid of it after an update and replaced it with Mythic Attack. Probably because some players could dominate in it and get a huge amount of Credits and alot of people also didn't play it. I want the option to give Zombies different loadouts, I could’ve made the whole L4D cast by now if they did.
... errrmm... you can? Zombie Load-outs are classified as Tier 2 if you want to give them Load-outs. Sadly, still no Alpha Zombie.
KoTH glitch? I haven't heard of it. I've had problems with the spawn order of safe havens, but I'm not sure if that's the same thing. As far as things that could be improved upon, my number one complaint is (as foolish as this sounds) the ability to turn off someone else's armor effect in-game (so that you don't have to see it). Well, perhaps it''s not my number one issue, but it's all that I can think of at the moment. Halo 3 was a game that I never took too seriously as far as gameplay went, so I was hoping that I could change that with Reach. Unfortunately, shooting someone and having them explode in a thrilling blast of colored confetti, doesn't exactly fit my definition of serious. And of course for elites to get into viscous fights with packs of moa. As an easter egg.
Umm, i know that? How do you think i got my 1500 heavy weapons kills in firefight I was fond of the infinite ammo tbh. Thats about it.
