While surfing the Forgehub a week ago i came across a remake of Complex from 007 GoldenEye.. i was so disgusted by what i saw i was forced to make one myself in order to honor GoldenEye properly. The one i saw was said to be extremely accurate (False) i set out to make mine as accurate as forge would let me. I downloaded an N64 emulator and GoldenEye, used the nice pattern they had on the wall to make measurements on how big areas were for example the room I call the arena room turned out to be a 22x14 room. Of course i put in all of the secret rooms. But i could not completley cover them in capture plates due to forge minimizing my amount. It took me a while, but finially it's finished. and i can truely say. It is Accurate, and it is awesome!. Weapons: you can always edit the weapon set if you like. DMR x4 Needle Rifle x3 Needler x2 Gravity Hammer x1 (2 minute respawn) Concussion Rifle x1 Plasma Pistol x3 Rocket Launcher x1 (2 minute respawn and only 2 shots) Grenade Launcher x1 Plasma Grenades x8 (or 6 i can't remember, lol) Sniper Rifle x1 (ya i know not really a sniping level, well F-YOU, i want it in there) Shotgun x1 (90 second respawn and only 6 shots) Plasma Repeater x2 Spiker x2 Hologram x1 Drop Shield x1 Jet Pack x1 NOTE!!!!: ignore the fact that we all have rockets in the pictures.. we were playing a gametype i made for fun. On with the pictures.! I call this the Arena room. falling off, into the pit does kill you. (from a killzone not just hieght) If you were to do team anything, this is where blue team spawns This is where Red Team spawns I like this room, and rocks because i wanted rocks F-You. This room is where most of the action was when we played. lots of fun, dont turn your back to that hole since people can fly up it. (thats what she said) The VENT!, this connects the main room and the Arena room, but you all know that. The red room. Columns! F**k, another thing, in the remake that "inspired" me to make this, there wasnt any real columns!, it was tin cup flags, that you could run through.. More New Pictures!!!! More Action aswell!! Anyway, thats enough pics, download it to see it closer. it's incredifun.. (ya i know "This tool just combined incredible and fun" well it sounded somewhat fitting so screw off) haha, just kidding... but seriously. I never knew the layout to this map, until i completed it in forge, lol. PLease comment, download, make personal statements towards me, i dont give a F**k. like i said, feel free to change the weapon set if you want. "so dont complain, isnt that a little over kill?" you have forge too! change it if your unhappy.
...I only wish I had my old Goldeneye to compare it to. Anyway, You probably don't need to tell people to F***-Off before they even comment on it. We all get it - this was a casual forge. Relax.
This is amazing its a perfect remake of complex! If only we had Perfect Dark/Golden Eye weapons right? Its a sure download. 5/5 Remake Facilty and Ill love you forever.
Ha!, ya i know. i was just having fun.. ya, the way i was able to make it look like the real complex was by playing goldeneye while forging
wow i used to play this game and i'd completely forgotten about it but seeing this remake instantly made me remember that bond game and this map i think that truly attests to the quality of this remake so well done chap
Nicely done man! I always look for 007 remakes as I've done one myself. Hopefully we can get all of the maps from Goldeneye one day.
i would remake other goldeneye maps but im gonna wait for different forge maps.. see if they give us something similar to sandbox, so i can make temple

Sweet, i'm workin on trying to make this map a little better, im out of ramps, walls, and blocks though.. i dont know what else i can change. glad to have a fan i guess?. lol
It was amazing. I'm basing it on memory only, but it seemed really accurate. There were a few places I felt were off... then realized I was thinking of the Perfect Dark version of complex not Goldeneye... Good job.
Ya, i never played perfect dark. my friend told me i forgot the baoclony in one room, and i said, dude i spent hours playing Goldeneye to make this as accurate as possible theres no way i missed anything. then he said "Goldeneye?, O i was remembering from Perfect Dark"..
awesome remake very accurate from what I could tell. You had a couple z fighting pieces though like the fake wall rooms =(. Haven't had a chance to play on it yet but it will be interesting to see how it plays compared to the goldeneye version!
it plays just like it did for me in goldeneye. the main fighting took place in the main room and the arena room, next room was the sniper room that overlooks the drop off area. But i also play swat on it, then the focus point becomes the tunnel linking The main room and arena room.
IMO Complex is the best multiplayer map for a FPS ever. And like you, I've downloaded every remake of it I've seen here and other places for both H3 and Reach. This is by far the best. Good job.
This is amazing, I cannot wait to play this with my friends. This was my favorite 007 map, I've spent hours upon hours fighting in this map when i was a child. hats off to you =]
ya, this was my favorite map from goldeneye too. and probably favorite map of any FPS. thats the reason i was looking for a good remake.. but like the Dr D04K said above you, there wasnt any good remakes out there, they claimed to be good, but they were liars. so i made my own. it would be awesome if Bungie could make it themselves. into a non-forged map... i doubt it though

I hope so, that would be awesome.. it would be stupid of them not too, seeing asforge is one of the biggest things about this game. they need to give us a desert, forest, city/rural and arctic forge world.... maybe a space one.. that would be sick.. we can only hope. and good luck on that facility.. ive seen quite a few disapointing ones. try your best! and GL!
