Launch Site Base V2

    Launch Site Base
    Update I took out the hammer
    I made some major changes. I got rid of the stairs,now the dead ends are not dead ends and less lenghty paths in the basement

    Please give feedback and criticisms

    After finishing Greenhouse, i started working on a construct/asylum mix but ran into trouble but while doing so i went on forge hub for some inspiration.However i read an interesting comment. Someone said they wanted more themed maps as alot of good forgers don"t make them enough .So i thought about it and came up with this.A rocket launch base site.The map takes place inside the base, However the rocket sits in the background and all its glory.

    Launch Site Base is a asymmetrical map with a rocket on the outside of the map as a major ascetic. Its a very crazy map where the battles constantly switch to multiple places at once
    I would have liked to do more with this but ran out of ideas.
    Suggestions and criticisms are most appreciated
    I am thinking of entering this into forgetacular contest and taking out my other map because it just seems to blend

    Weapons(everything has two spare clips except the shotgun)
    2 dmrs 2 (70 seconds)
    sniper rifles (180 seconds)
    1 shotgun(1 spare clip)(150 seconds)
    2 needlers (90 seconds)
    2 plasma repeaters (65 seconds)
    1 plasma pistol (30 seconds)
    1 magnum (30 seconds)
    Gravity Hammer(180 seconds)
    3 health packs

    I can see very clearly that the sniper is too close to the grav hammer in the last pic.other than that the map seems fine

    well i just took it out so now its final and im not making any more changes

    I don't know why but this map made me think of Hang 'em High from HCE... and also made me smile.

    Right then Let's have a looksee....

    First off the things I love-
    + No more Dead Ends! SWEEET
    + I'm diggin the cover you added in the top mid.
    + The basement feels better, with more options for a player with no shields
    +While I liked the dropdowns, I agree that patching them shut is probably the best bet for the east Side.

    What Could use improvement-
    -Nades can drop in between the lower colloseum windows and the floor on the Red Sides.
    -The windows for the second floor of the west side aren't lined up with the floor. Nades can get through there too.
    -There's a gap in the ceiling on the northwest lower hallway that needs patching.
    -The red side ramps you put in are a step in the right direction, but they could be wider.
    -Maybe two more DMRs? Not 100% on that one...
    -The West side tunnels need to be lowered a little bit, nades can crawl under there.

    Then the little tiny things that make all the difference-
    +Might as well line up the objectives in the center planter and bases.
    +Standing the Plasma Repeaters up would help. I didn't see them there until this Forgethrough.
    +That basement floor bump is still there.
    + You have some Z-fighting on the upper walkway in the southwest corner. The Cover piece needs to be moved a scootch.



    Just for my own knowledge here, did you do all that from my feedback on here, or did you check out the edit I did? Because if I was as concise as I aim to be, you didn't need to see the edit.

    i didnt see the edit i did that all from the feedback but its a little late to change anything else now since i entered it in to the forgetacular contest.the gaps in the small paths were kinda on purpoes but i knew about the vollisuem window from the very beginning as i was having problems with it

    sorry about that i guess it reset again when i edited it. Its fixed now and btw it supports 8

    I see, well I guess I gave good feedback! If you did wanna see it, I'll leave it in my fileshare for another day or so. You did almost exactly what I was describing anyway so it's whatever. :)

    i looked at your edit and it was good but i mean mine and your were only slighty different nothing that major.

    Thanks for good luck in forgetacular. I"m pretty sure that i"m not going to win but i"m hoping that i can at least get the map into matchmaking and i will be happy
