    It seems that this map could do very well. I can't remember, how long are the shotty spawns and how much ammo do they have? If it isn't on no clip, put it on no-clip. Perhaps lengthening the respawn could work as well?

    And kaveman, you only hate it because you've played too much of it and kept getting pwned. XD

    I'm going to start this off with a shameful admission. When I saw Gyroscope, I was interested in the aesthetics, but I thought it would play horribly....

    ...So naturally, when I opened it up on Reach, I put down my controller and whacked myself in the face for ever doubting you.

    I am yet to actually play against somebody on the map thanks to CoD, but my walk around the map proved less deadly than I expected. I thought i'd constantly fall of the edges, which I didn't. I also thought the angles would make travesing all about jumping, but your connections between the rings made the map much eaisre to navigate.

    I will post a full review when I actually kick some ass on the map....or get destroyed. Either way. ;)

    I have found that even though the shotties are on 1 clip they arent insanely overpowering, but still give you a slight advantage (which is what power weapons are for). Added that there is one on either side, I dont think they need to change to 1 clip.

    Also so true about Kave! :p

    Haha, lol. I understand where you're coming from though. Most would look at this and think, 'lots of suiciding, lots of annoying angles'. Ill watch out for your extended review when you write it. :D

    Honestly, what is the point of such a fail message?

    Anyways, I LOOOVE this map. Seeing as me and my main Reach friend like 1v1'ing, this map plays awesome in 1v1 Snipers.

    Oh... And...
    IT. DOESN'T. NEED. RAILINGS.

    Wow, the final version looks really cool. Great thing about this map is it plays well too. We played some intense FFA slayer last week on it.

    And there we have it, two examples of people saying they've had amazing gameplay on the map, with one even emphasising how it DOESNT NEED RAILINGS.

    To all the people passing judgement without playing: I really wish you people would download first, play second, comment and complain third.

    I remember seeing the SketchUp for this and I thought it could only work as an aesthetic map. I'm still not entirely sure if I was right, but I'll try finding out.

    Great job, I was starting to think I'd never see it.

    Yeah um... Most people when they saw the Sketchup preview thought it would only be good as an aesthetic map. I proved them wrong!

    Also a message to everyone. Download and play the map FIRST before making comments like 'there's not enough railings' or 'or to many suicides are going to happen'. WRONG! Play first and then if you honestly think there is something wrong tell me.

    This one is an instant classic, its simple yet complicated to navigate, its very open yet provides many divided areas, and really makes your head spin with vertigo :) Although its is pretty to look at, I can tell that it would be equally matched at gameplay. The one thing that detracts from the map visually is that glass sail section, I think the sails are ugly unless used in some creative way. I feel like they have no purpose being there and since you have such a large budget remaining I suggest you create a sort of signature decoration for that area instead.

    First thought: I'd really like to see Gyroscope floating out in space outside anchor 9 (bungie dropped the ball on that area for a map) but the way it is now is very original and a great concept for a vertical map. FFA looks to be especially fun.

    As far as railings go, the slanted rings don't need them as your constant change in elevation keeps you reminded how close to the edge you are. I like that. However, the middle/level ring should be the main section with the most traffic and I'd like to be assured that I can wildly back up and not fall if just for that ring. Another idea, add small platforms of some sort at 2 of the cardinal points of that same middle/level ring for the spawns. This would give help with your orientation or you could add 4 small platforms to all the cardinal points so that you can MAYBE keep the DISoriented effect and give stability to the middle ring. Great concept and execution. Grats on the FHF thing.

    PS. Never did get a successful man cannon trip from the bottom (slammed the bottom of the ring and died) No biggie I adjusted it right off.

    I think the map looks epic, and I hate to judge gameplay before I actually play it, but it seems like all the combat will take place up there, with the exception of a few spawn killing below. Also, you should have adjusted the man-cannon so it shoots you comfortably on to the ledge; it seems really awkward at the height that it shoots you right now.

    Other than those small doubts I have, the map look amazing. Forging something like that definitely proves your talent with the Forge tool.

    Forge or custom games? Because that man cannon always makes it in custom games. In forge you'll hit the Safe Area object and die.

    Dude you replied to the PS and not the actual message? And yeah it was the safe object....My bad. But I took a good look at the map and I think that stuff I said could improve the map on the real. If you want to make it a True Blue slayer map ya gotta add...something. IMO the rings are a real good center piece, but I think if you added stuff it would look more wholesome, even if its pieces that dont effect gameplay. Dont you think it looks a little naked?

    Lol sorry. I don't know. You really need to get game before you can accurately say how this map plays. As for the look, well I wanted to keep it simple. Not overdone or fancy like a lot of other maps try to do. But yer thanks for your comments.

    Holy crap, i've never seen a map design like that before! I feel like downloading it even though I haven't really took a good look yet. It looks like fun! One very small and inconspicuous problem I see, however, is the fact that people could fall off the platforms, since there are little to no railings.

    Thanks. Everyone who hasn't played the map says that. The map is designed so that in most areas, if you fall off the edge you will land on a lower level and survive.

    this looks sweet! from the pics and video, it seems like this map would be quite enjoyable to play on. I'll be sure and get on this one after while. as for the railings, it looks just fine to me but I guarantee if there's a place you can fall from, I will find it. damn it, I wish I could forge like you people....arghhh

    Thanks man. There are places you can fall off but these places require you to actually try to fall off. Places where you can accidently fall off have been gaurded by railings and other safety mechanisms.
    Also just keep forging and practicing and you will get better. A lot the production actually goes into thinking up the map design rather than actually forging the map. I mean sure you can go ahead and start forging without any prior planning but having a goal will in the end produce a better map.
