Can someone help me? I replaced the char.png file in minecraft with a different skin but it still shows the default. I checked in Mobs and it is not there. Please help!
If you pirate the game and you can't even use google to find a tutorial on how to change your skin in the pirated version, I don't think anyone is going to help you. That's just full on retard.
I've been looking thorugh the file recently and I dont think you change the char.png file in the mobs file (I think that governs the ye olde human mob). In the main folder (where there are loads of file like a and a1) the should be a file called char or 2char and I think thats the one you change.

<3 Thanks dude, I needed a new wallpaper. I just found a ridiculous amount of diamond in a cave. Ive never seen so much in one place before.... Now that I have diamond I can actually finish my castle. Well it was already finished, it was just made out of dirt. Now to replace that dirt with stone and it shall be COMPLETE!

I'm listening... ;D My server that I've been running has been getting a good bit of members or at least good trustworthy members that now I want to start looking into cheap dedicated servers. I don't know what's good, so basically the way I see it, anyone that I find cheap makes me peaks my interest a little. xD
Mob traps are pretty fun to make and test. I kinda wanna explore that some more :/ I know lava will stop flowing after 9 blocks from its source. That's pretty good for killing mobs almost instantly AND you can make it so it doesn't disintegrate your stuff... i least i'm pretty sure you can :S But I think drowning's the best method. It may take a while but at least you get the "remains" afterward. Plus you can find water practically anywhere
Ok, when I first saw this game I was like: "how old is this game, it looks ****". I then played it and got instantly addicted. Later, all my friends saw it and thought the exact same thing.
