Okay is there or is there not a forge hub server anymore? Either classic or alpha? because while I am getting the hang of singleplayer I would rather prefer playing with others. It just gets boring running from laggy creepers all the time.
Hopefully 5, looking for any long term server, as most I play have a bad tendency to disapear or shut down at in opurtune moments.
I don't get servers... Is it like an xbox live party, except some people are allowed to build and others aren't? and are there monsters? plus i heard there's a ton of bugs, so i'm kind of resistant to join one, at least until those bugs are fixed. and i don't think i'd help with the lag seeing as i'm in china and everyone else is prbly in the west
It all depends on what server you go on. For example the Crafthub Sever that im a moderator on, you can build freely and go where ever you wish. However there are some minor rules, but most are common sense. There will always be bugs. Unless you wish to wait till the full release, and really now there will still be bugs even if so. You really should try it, there's nothing to loss in doing so. And where you live has no real difference, and really if you speak english fine then still nothing is wrong. To really only find out if you lag so bad that you can't, you'd need to attempt to try a server

Anyone getting either a 504 or a 502 error? because I cannot connect to the minecraft site let alone the game.
I figured as much, The weekends are always hard on the site, just never gotten those errors before. usually just a connection time out. Meh just stinks that the game is down on the nasty saturday I am stuck at work. EDIT: HAH! 343'rd Post
We need a grappling hook. If that is all that comes when the game hits Beta, so be it, but a grappling hook would be the best thing ever. No more towers of blocks. We need grappling hookz.

I really love making giant sculptures in classic and when i'm playing survival I miss it. I think Notch should add a classic mode within the actual game so we could play it whenever.
