The Silent Cartographer

    This is a losely remade invasion version of the Halo CE Single Player Campaign level "The Silent Cartographer"

    The Spartans spawn on the beach with two load outs, one with the Assault Rifle and and Pistol, 2 grenades, and one with the DMR and Pistol. They must assault the Elites position.
    (Note, Loads outs are the same as normal invasion past this point)

    Once the Spartans secure the beach, Foe Hammer drops her warthog and full rocket launcher.(They just spawn, no pelican flying in today...) Then the Spartans must climb the mountan to bring down the shield guarding the map room enterance the elites locked.

    After they bring down the shield, the Spartans must make there way through the close quarters environment to get the map(the core)

    Once they retrieve the core, the Spartans must make they way back to FoeHammers Falcon for extraction.

    Please remember this is loosely remade, it is not an exact recreation. Also, if this has been done before I did not steal any ideas. This is my own idea with the inspiration from the level the Silent Cartographer.

    NIIIIIIIICCEEE, looks great! but with leftover credits you probably could have added a ship and other parts on the map. then again there may not be any credits... but looks good Dl

    Yeah, I probably could have added more, but there was not much to add.

    There are major issues with spawning outside of the map and random soft death zones

    I ran some tests earlier today on the spawns I had no problem. Are you sure you played it on invasion? Or did you try leave the Island(walking that is, there is a teleporter that warps you to the area that is the inside of the cartographer). This map would not work with any gametype other than invasion(invasion slayer will probably not work as well.)

    Ok, I played this with a large game now, and everyone complained about the spawn locations. there is too much walking required, and not enough buildings. there should be more passageways to each capture point, and more than one per round to make a good map.and the vehicles need to be farther away from the elites. another thing is that people camp with the fuel rod in the capture points, so I recommend replacing it with a banshee. and 1 person did say they spawned in hemmorage, but was on the other team so i couldnt verify

    Thank-you for bringing these to my attention. I have some ideas for a V2. I will be taking down the map and gametype some time today to edit it. Then I will create a new post.

    Note, I DID NOT intend to use Forgehub as a testing ground. Just wanted to say so I don't offend any mod's or anyone like that. ;) Expect Version 2 ASAP!

    Version 1 looks good. So v2 has got to be better. If you have the chance try to make it usable for all game types.
