    but this looks bbbeeeeeaaastt. the opening on the roof made the first picture just awesome with the trees.

    Thanks man, message me whenever you're available. I've tested it with friends, but I want a really good 4 v 4 test. We usually only have enough for FFA

    This is a very cool map, haven't tested it in a custom but ran around it for a bit. It flows nicely and has a nice balance of open and cover. The middle does remind me of "Vanilla" for obvious reasons but I like the size and balance on this one much more. Looking forward to playing a few customs on it.

    Has a strong MLG styled arena feel to it, but with some nice trees to mix it up. I'd imagine it'd play well and am hoping to play a game on it some time.

    Thank you so much for comparing my map to vanilla. Yes your right I did get a lot of inspiration from Vanilla. I love the map as well but I tend to like maps that are symmetrical which is how presidium came to be.

    OK, I took a look in Forge. On the plus side, I really like the basic geometry of the map. It is interesting and well thought out. Many of the aesthetic touches are great too. Here are some criticisms though, in increasing order of importance.
    -There are some bizarre gaps in the geometry. For example, I think it would look better if you filled in the tail ends of the circular inclines. Also, the little nooks with the med packs seem kind of silly.
    -There is z-fighting in the ceiling when exiting red base on the right.
    -I would recommend changing the object colors to the color you want instead of using team designations. In a small, symmetrical map orientation is vital, and team colors do not appear in ffa.
    -I think there are too many power weapons for such a small map. Furthermore, I do not think the rocket is a good fit for this map anyway. It is too powerful, which forces you to (rightly) reduce the clip size to 0 and the increase the respawn time to 180. But all that really means is one person will randomly (more or less) get 2 free kills every 3 minutes. The weapon is more of an event than an item. I would recommend merging the shotguns and rockets into one weapon where the rockets are now. How about a Plasma Launcher? It is explosive like the rockets, but at close range basically loses its lock-on abilities, and there is a delay during which targets can try to escape. Or, for a safer bet you could just go with the sword or hammer. With any of those changes you could also reduce the spawn time on the replacement, so it is a more constant feature of the map.
    I really like the layout of this map. There's just a lot of little things that bug me about it. Fix those, though, and I think you might have greatness.

    I thank you for pointing those things out. I tested the map last night and I got hooked on the harsh ledges you were talking about. I alos had no idea about the Z fighting thank you for that as well. The rockets were also to much and have replaced rockets and shot gun with a sword in the middle. Thank you again, you were right on with your comments.
